MYLAPORE SAI BABA TEMPLE is located near Kapaleeswarar Temple at Mylapore, Chennai built in 1952.

This is a very famous Shirdi Sai Baba temple formed by the grace of Pujiyashri HH Narasimha Swamiji who was one of the key persons to bring awareness of Shirdi Sai Baba, his preaching, miracles, his sayings in South India, especially in Tamilnadu, among the general public.

Apart from this, the temple has a bigger Statue of Baba with a larger accommodation, Dwarakamaye Baba with Dhuni, Gurustan and Narasimha Swamiji samadhi which serves as a meditation hall with Shirdi Sai in his usual pose and HH Narasimha Swamiji standing near Baba depicting a Guru - Sishya relationship; its a wonderful place for meditation.

There is also a separate place for lighting oil lamp and candle.

Prasadam/Annadhanam is served on the terrace neatly in an orderly manner and of course Thursdays are very special. One can also see the temple tower on visiting the terrace.

REGULAR TIMING: On Thursdays, 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Rest of the days Morning : 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM Evening : 4:00 PM to 9:00...

In a temple of such a holy saint, who taught to love,care and respect, it so dissapointing that we were inhumanly treated when we had request for a chair for a person who has been suffering from a infection in his leg and back for which he had undergone minor surgeries for the past year and a senior citizen who is unable to sit down and get up from the floor,who were participating in a dooni puja. There should be rules to maintain discipline and order, not to discourage people from wanting to go to Temples on basis of curelty and insensitively.People go to Temple to seek blessings of the Divine to get well from a sickness or some suffering apart from wanting to thank,or celebrate or just pray,and when you get treated so badly in a temple of such great reputation it's just so sad and a huge let down. There was no one present on the management level to whom we could turn for assistance also. It will great if some provision is made for the elderly and sick people in these cases....

Very special Saibaba temple🙏 In Mylapore.. Thursday is very special in this temple when you can see a plenty of people come across the temple.. If u want to see Saibaba🕉️ crowd less, prefer days like Monday, Tuesday and Friday.. When you come here at crowded time, you cant get a feel of good Spirituality🕉️.. Whereas on normal days, you can see the God as much as you want.. As well as you can feel free to meditate here..A positive vibes you can definitely feel that.. Anna prasadam🍲 is provided almost any time(particularly timing is there).. Sambar rice🍛 and curd rice 🍚are most commonly the pradasam.. Drinking water is worst and fully chlorinated.... You may also donate funds💵 to this temple.. And finally Om sai.. Om sai... Om sai... Spread love and Ahimsa......
