Bali’s Corner — Restaurant in Bali

This place had 4,9 review and it was so close to my gym that I just had to give it a go. If you are not familiar with the area … you might pass by it many times and not able to find the barely 7ft wide store front. I was on foot and that’s how I found this on that busy street.

The food was cooked ala minute. So everything is fresh and piping hot. I had mine to go and I had trouble handling it. I had chicken paratha (that was supposed to have chicken and cheese in it). The freshness was very nice and the chicken was spread so evenly but I couldn’t spot or taste the cheese. I asked for extra spicy curry sauce. The sauce was tasty and much needed cuz the dish didn’t have much taste. The sauce was very mild to my taste (but then again, this might be hot for most westerners). In general, it is safe for most adults to ask for spicy sauce here.

The service was wholesome and heartfelt - within these few feet wide somehow you feel like you are taken care for.

It is possible to dine in on the top (climb up a ladder) which could be nice in the evening when the sun...

Honestly, I want to put only 1 star, because this place is a gem and I don't want it to be crowded, but the truth is it's one of the best (if not the best) places in Bali to have food. I especially recommend chicken roll (you can also ask for more spicy), but everything's delicious here. The owner is a funny and a smart person to have interesting conversations about different topics. People coming here are very friendly, so it's a nice place to meet new people over a drink or two. Also, they open till late hours like 3-4am. So yeah, it's a very addictive and dangerous place to visit so...
