It really is amazing, the only reason I'm not giving it the 5th star is because of some rather bad advice for how to get to sanur harbour 😔 ||The accommodation is stunning. So simple, with stylish, elegant touches. Its spotlessly clean and really has that wow factor. ||Breakfast was AMAZING. Literally the best pancake I've ever eaten. Juice was squeezed fresh to order. ||We had a 10:30am boat to Nusa Penida booked from Sanur harbour. We'd just got off a very long flight the day before so I spoke to the manager who said she knew a good driver who would say what time we need to be on the way to make the boat. We were advised 9:30am pick up would be enough time. On the day the driver was 10 minutes late. The drive itself took over an hour and we missed the boat by 30 minutes. Poor advice, which is surprising as I'm sure a lot of guests need transport arranging. We ended up either having to wait 5 hours for the next. Or buy another 2 tickets. Rather than waste a day, we booked 2 more tickets. ||I highly recommend this place, just don't rely on the staff to book your taxis - do...
Read moreWe don't usually stay in boutique villa accommodation but wanted a change to try something different and found Kano lovely and ideal for our 1 week stay in Canggu. It's very well located with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops in walking distance and an extremely good money changer just 20 or 30m up the road.|Our two main hosts, both named Kedek were great! As is the Balinese way, they kept out of the way but were always there when needed and always open to a chat if you wanted one. Very helpful, friendly and kept the place immaculate.|The pool is small but was never crowded while we were there so we mostly had it to ourselves.|The only downside, and it's only a very small negative is the the curtains were very light so didn't block much of the sun in the morning so the room was lit up from an early time, but we did get used to it and were able to sleep in.|Highly recommended for a nice relaxing...
Read moreVery well located small resort. We stayed 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our team of hosts were lovely Balinese that were always there when we needed them or even just felt like a chat but they didn't hover around. The rooms and surrounds were kept spotlessly clean by the team too. The perfect hosts! There are 6 X 1 bedroom villas with a shared kitchenette space and a small pool. During our stay we were the only guests staying any longer than a couple of nights and so therefore never found the pool crowded. We walked everywhere we needed to go and found everything we could possibly need or want. Cafe Coach just up the end of the lane was delightful for breakfast and or coffee. Overall a nice relaxing stay and would certainly stay here again if...
