Really wanted to love this hotel. Even gave it a second chance after the first mishaps and booked to stay a second night, but problems continued. If service can improve and a few other frustrating issues get resolved, it could be a great resort. ||Pros:|- Good sized rooms that are well furnished (both the Hava and Deluxe) with comfortable beds, nice robes, good AC, Smart TV (Netflix and YouTube only) and fruit baskets as standard |- The bigger Hava rooms are pretty spacious with a huge bathroom including a large bathtub |- The hotel is pretty - they’ve made a real effort with making it comfortable but good to look at|- Really well sized pool for the size of the hotel and the gym has a reasonable amount of equipment in good order|- Staff are extremely friendly|- Good location - 20 min walk and you’re at the Art Market and they offer a bookable shuttle but space is very limited ||Cons:|- The balconies are a bit grim for both room types I stayed in, particularly the Deluxe (it’s a wall view)|- Soundproofing between rooms is extremely bad - I can sleep through anything, but if you can’t you may struggle |- Housekeeping seemed to have a horrible habit of dragging the furniture on the tiles when cleaning rooms, which with no soundproofing meant it was very disturbing - stick some felt pads on the bottom for everyone’s sake|- The Deluxe room was definitely damp/had a mildew smell - not uncommon in some older hotels here, but given how new this place is it’s surprising. The Hava room I had was absolutely fine|- The pool loungers don’t have any sort of cushion which was just uncomfortable|- The most frustrating though, was that service just doesn’t hit the mark often. A few simple instances where this happened within 24 hours were:|1. At breakfast, staff were way too preoccupied chatting amongst the 8/9 of them to bother greeting/seating, offering a menu/explaining how breakfast worked at their hotel, offering coffee or even remembering to cook the eggs order I placed after 15 minutes when they were only serving 4 other tables of 1-2 guests. |2. After checking out and then rebooking later that day to give the place another go after the breakfast issues, when trying to check back in to the hotel I was stood waiting for 20 mins at reception while the staff fiddled with a computer, with no idea what was going on. Then after paying for the room, I was told the room wasn’t ready as it was a last minute booking (completely acceptable). It was past the check in time, but I was fine with a delay as long as I had an idea on the time frame - this wasn’t offered and required asking twice to get any sort of response other than a shrug, at which point they contacted housekeeping and said 30 mins for the room. For the inconvenience there was a special effort to start afternoon tea early for me (which consisted of giving me a cup of coffee and two small cakes). Over an hour later I’m still sat waiting, at which point I asked reception for an update. The room had been ready, but nobody thought to come and let me know. |3. I needed to attend a meeting the next day, so wanted to iron two things - should be simple to get an iron and ironing board, but unfortunately the only 3 in the entire hotel are in use. After asking if I could get one by the morning (3 times) I was eventually told they would sort it and one showed up 30 minutes later. Just get a few more for the 58 rooms in the hotel. They aren’t expensive or bulky, and there’s no pressing service. ||I really wanted my second night to go well as the staff are extremely kind, but it just confirmed this hotel wasnt being run properly, and for the price of the rooms it should be. ||I don’t want to put people off going here and I really want them to improve, but if any of the above would frustrate you, maybe hold off staying for a while so they can hopefully fix some of the simple issues. If none of this would bother you,...

Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care were clear in everything they did. We were especially touched by the little surprises and thoughtful touches that made our anniversary feel truly magical.||Our room was immaculate, modern, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. One of the most touching moments was walking into the room to find it decorated with fresh flowers for our anniversary. And as vegetarians, we were especially moved when the staff surprised us with a delicious eggless cake. It’s rare to find that level of thoughtfulness.||The pool area is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sounds of nature. Read moreNew hotel with lots of friendly and eager to assist staff. Their kindness makes you feel welcomed and their readiness to serve you at every moment truly makes it feel like you’re on holiday. The rooms and facilities are clean, beautiful pool and water fountain. Great spa to get a massage at and breakfast was good. Shuttle service that runs to and from Ubud Centre (only selected times, so make sure you know the schedule).Although I gave them a 5/5, the are still things I think that they can improve on.1. Housekeeping is quite slow, I stayed at the pool one day and had lunch at the restaurant, after 3 hours I returned to my room and it still wasn’t touched by housekeeping. I also waited longer on the day of my check-in to get to my room. Although I arrived early and was patient and understanding to wait until my room was ready at 14:00 I still ended up waiting another 30mins to get to my room. This was a little annoying as they already knew I was waiting a long time and feel like they could’ve somehow speeded up the service. I understand they have their cleaning standards, especially for a new check-in. Maybe they need to employ more housekeepers to fulfil the hotel’s requirements.2. On the day of my arrival the pool wasn’t open due to bad weather days prior to my check-in, which I totally understand and grateful they tend to the pool so well. I was however offered 20% discount on the Spa, outdoor activities etc. through a paper that was placed on my bed after I got into my room. However this coupon wasn’t explained to me and when I tried to use it two days later for a massage I was told it was only valid for the day the pool was out of service.3. Breakfast - I understand it’s a smaller hotel and I appreciate any hotel that tries to contribute to the environment by limiting food waste by only serving certain about of dishes, however a better variety would have been appreciated, especially for guests that stays for a couple of nights. With that the buffet breakfast only came with a Balinese Coffee or Tea. This was not explained before booking the room and this information wasn’t given by Trip.com. It does however say the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea. But like many many other hotels I’ve stayed at and mentioned that the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea it usually means that there is a variety of coffee or teas available. And wanting a cappuccino or iced latte for breakfast would cost you extra. 4. The restaurant, drink usually came not as cold as one would expect it to be. I ordered an ice tea and it was more of a lukewarm tea. The beer they served was also not very cold and quite disappointing especially when it’s so hot and all you want is something ice cold. 5. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find, management can think of a better way to showcase the entrance/name of the hotel.Overall I enjoyed the stay, it close enough to walk to Ubud Centre (about 15min walk) If you’re up to it. It’s beautiful, clean and a little peace of paradise. Some services however need more...
