Element Restaurant and Bar, Penestanan Kelod — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

I recently dined at Element Restaurant and Bar in Ubud, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my goodness! The steak at Element surpassed my expectations. It was incredibly tender and juicy, making it quite possibly the best steak I've ever had, and that's saying something as an Australian! And don't even get me started on the tiramisu – it was simply to die for, a perfect ending to a perfect meal.

What really stood out to me was the value for money. The portion sizes were generous, and you could tell that they used only the freshest produce. Plus, with such an extensive menu, it was a challenge to decide what to order – a delightful problem to have!

Located just outside the city, Element is in a prime spot for enjoying not just delicious food and drinks but also for people-watching or even catching up on work with their free and fast wifi.

Last but not least, I have to commend the staff. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and attentive, and their flawless English made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We were really craving Indian food and noticed that this restaurant had a limited selection of Indian dishes.

I was a little sceptical at first as the restaurant offers a mix of east/west cuisine. We decided to give it a try. We ordered almost everything they had on the Indian vegetarian menu including samosas.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the dishes produced (subtle flavouring/spice combination) and left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. They make their own paneer and I love how they cooked it. Even the cardamom and ginger tea was good.

The owners were friendly and welcoming. One of them is Indian and she mentioned that Indian cuisine is a new venture for the restaurant and I have no doubt it will become a popular choice if not already.

Well done! We will be back for breakfast dosa...

Awesome food and chilled vibe! We stumbled upon this restaurant for a quick drink fix which turned into going there everyday for either lunch or dinner!! Their food is mouth watering, the chef is so talented who is full of life, loves talking to people and make them feel comfortable! Special mention to Chef’s wife who is Indian which made us feel more connected, we connected over cups of masala chai, aaloo paranthas, home style cooked butter chicken, dal makhni and naans 🤩 They do have western food and our fav among that were Grilled Mushroom and Grilled smoked chicken tenderloin!!
