Sari Bamboo Bungalows — Hotel in Pulau Bali

It’s very dirty the bathroom. The swimming pool is also dirty. The mosquito net for the bed is broken with some black color on it.

Paintings are ugly, kitch and don’t fit the style of the wood buildings.

The bed makes me feel very itchy whole night, maybe the host needs to kill the insects in the bed with some chemical products, cuz it doesn’t feel it’s the problem of the cover, more like the problem inside of the bed mattress.

Feel the entire environment needs some arrangements, throw away trashes hidden between the buildings, and make it more like a real hotel with good vibration.

We have impression that, it’s a bit more like host’s personal home (home stay) than a real hotel when we come to dining area, so we don’t really feel refreshing, and we don’t feel it’s a place for welcoming guests, so there is no customer in their cafe and restaurant. So it feels dead.. something is not really circulating well.

I booked a villa with private pool for my family this coming July, through booking.com

I received a message falsely claiming that the card I booked with (months ago) is invalid, and that my booking will be cancelled. This problem has not happened with any other bookings I have made with the same card. I contacted both Sari Bamboo Bungalows, and booking.com, to resolve the issue, and ...my booking was cancelled anyway.

Sari Bamboo Bungalows subsequently refused to reinstate the booking. If you wish, you can book the same bungalow I did, for the same dates, but for about an extra $700. The place looks lovely, and I am sure you will have a great time, if the property doesn't decide to cancel your booking if they think it's possible to re-list for a higher fee.

Unfortunately, I have multiple rashes and allergies from my stay at Sari Bamboo Bungalows from multiple bedbugs.

At 3am, I got my torch and noticed bedbugs everywhere! Heaps scatted (underneath/on top of the sheets and pillows). When I first saw the bedbugs, I slept outside, as it was 3am and reception was closed. They have got to my clothes, luggage, and my head has even been itching. It's been 2 weeks from my stay, and I'm still waking up in the middle of the night itching/sore.

I immediately reported the issue to the hotel, but the problem was not resolved satisfactorily.

I rang the hotel, left my details as the manager wasn't there, and I got no call back. I'm taking it up with Agoda, who I booked with. I'm never one to complain, but this, by far, has been the worst stay and the customer service...
