We went to the cafe for lunch. And took the liberty to eat at the top floor at the open air Japanese restaurant on the top floor. Kawisari restaurant is a coffee shop where you can enjoy some snacks, pastries and amazing coffee drinks and also other unique drinks from their menu. We could spot surfers in Canggu Beach sea, surfing the perfect waves. It was fun to watch them having fun
We could spot the huge Garuda Wisnu Statue from the Japanese restaurant. We could spot the Jimbaran beach. I tried vegan food TERONG BALADO made of roasted eggplants on top you have tomatoes, peanuts red chillies served with red Balinese heirloom rice on the side.
I also tried their unique KAWISARI COFFEE LIQUOR INFUSIONS drink. It had Kawisari’s 100% Arabica coffee Beans, infused with Sambuca that tasted amazing. The light touch of the alcoholic Sambuca makes the coffee taste so different and amazing.
You can choose from vodka, whisky and Sambuca with your coffee and liquor infusions.
We also tried their chicken club sandwich, Quinoa and chickpeas salad and Asian chopped chicken salad with Watermelon juice and refreshing Young coconut water.
To enjoy our dessert we went down to the Kawisari Cafe and Savoured the Chocolate and coffee Pastry with my coffee infusions in that amazing ambiance of Kawisari Coffee Farm and Eatery.
For me, I would love to go there again and again. And I recommend this place to everyone.
You end your time in this coffee place by shopping from finest Java Arabica...
Read moreThe food is delicious, however the waitress should know the menu especially about what's inside it. When I order the smoothie bowl, I asked what is the based of it while pointing what I mean on the picture of the menu, the waitress just said it is dragon fruit (because the color is red-purple). Then I confirmed again, is it only dragon fruit or mix with banana? Because I want order without banana Then the waitress answered "Ok, you can order without banana" 30minutes waiting, then the waitress come to me and said "sorry miss, your order already made and the base is mixed with banana, but if you want to change it you can do it and we will make the new one for you." Omg😅 I already wait for such a long time and my friends already start eat their food, but if I need to wait for more long time, I couldn't do that. I just want the management gives all the staff especially they who communicate dirrectly with customers better uderstanding about the menu. However for other food is okay, the plating looks appetizing and the taste is delicious. Furthermore, the design is more like Central Java vibes. I just feel like we're in Yogyakarta not in Bali because the hotel name is Tugu which tugu is the iconic of Yogyakarta and the restaurant has vibes like...

This cafe is owned by a business with so much history in the coffee plantation industry in Indonesia. The history starts as far back as the Dutch colonization in Indonesia. They have a book with the business history and also the menu of the cafe. You can read about the history while waiting for your food.
Coffee was so good, it's the best coffee I've had so far in Bali and it's not the most expensive I've had so for its quality I find it very affordable. They have oatmilk and also decaf option. Extra 10k idr for the oatmilk.
Food was so so because I ordered avocado toast but it didn't look like the typical avocado toast in other cafes. My husband got the Spanish skillet and it was good.
Will come back for the coffee (and maybe pastries)?
Price wise on the steep side. We spent 270k IDr all in for Spanish skillet , avocado toast, oat decaf cappuccino...
