We were here thinking we would have a good time with drinks and the view of the beach. The waves here were pretty strong, so there were information about the high and low tides. The information said that the high tide would end at 1PM, we were there at 2.30PM.

After waiting for 30 minutes, we got seats first row at the bean bag in front of the beach. The sand was pretty wet as if the waves reached the place where the bean bag was placed. About a couple of minutes later the wave that came was so strong that we were washed away, wet from the waist down, bean bags, table, our belongings also washed away.

We lost valuable items because of that, our bags were soaked and the items inside are also damaged, including our electronics. A guest beside us also lost their phone because of that. We know that this is unexpected and beyond anyone’s control. But we think the management should have preventive and mitigation measures as they say to us this has happened before.

We were the ones who suffered the damages and there are NO COMPROMISE OR ACTION from the management. We would also appreciate if they had warned us beforehand about the tides and the possibility of this happening. They only said this was unexpected and would contact us if any is found.

We think they didn’t show empathy to us because after we gathered our things and processed what happened, we were offered to seat in another area. We think it is inappropriate when we just experienced that.
