We have eaten here before and been impressed but our last experience today was woeful... we arrived and ordered and then waited..... and waited.... and waited.... in this time we saw other patrons leave disgruntled obviously without having eaten. The first thing to arrive was the chips... which were a side... and they were cold so were sent back... at that time we mentioned that we had ordered starters which were still to arrive. The next to arrive was the salad with very wilted lettuce.. but alas still no starters... they turned up in due course and were, to their credit, piping hot. Someone who looked like they may have had some authority, came over and appolgised for the fact that they could not deliver one of the meals and when we said that the whole thing was a shambles, he said that the 'stone in the kitchen' was not working... we took that to be the stove. There was little communication about what was happening and in the end we waited for about an hour and a half for what we thought would be a quick late lunch. We called for the bill and then it was recalled and 10% was deducted. This did little to appease us. All in all a very poor experience. We saw mulitple other people who were obviously either unhappy or leaving because they had not received their food in an acceptable amount of time. Won't be back. Cannot...
Read moreMy husband and I have been to Bali for 2 weeks this time and we visited this place twice. After coming here for the second time(cause it was raining and we were close by) I would definitely recommend this place if you just want to have a nice cup of tea or coffee with a great desert cause that’s probably the best part of their menu.
We had dinner here on our previous visit and it turned out rather disappointing. Main courses are pretty much tasteless( we opted for the Balinese dishes), side dishes like sautéed vegetables were so tiny they weren’t worth the money and wouldn’t qualify even for a starter in my opinion. So apart from not bad starter and desert there is nothing really to rate this place for.
Regarding the ambiance, when you come in the place seems nice and cozy, BUT!!!! The tables are disgustingly sticky and unpleasant to touch, which makes you wonder when were they properly cleaned for the last time.
Over all I would say if it’s raining and gloomy outside and you just want to settle somewhere with a cup of nice coffee to watch the world go by it might be ok to come here. Other than that I ...

After seeing many burger、pizza、pasta restaurants & island style bars on the streets, here is definitely a good place to escape from the noise. The owners are designers from French part of Belgium and Japan(if the information is correct). You can really see their talent from the way they present their creative ideas here with selected furnishings and music. Different styles spaces creating unique atmospheres, relaxing and elegant. The menu is a combination with Belgium French also some Balinese cuisines. Surprisingly high CP in price and fine light and healthy dining quality. (Using paper straw, care about environmentally friendly is a plus!) Staffs are very nice with good English and good service. They know this restaurant well. Don't pass by, leave yourself with nice time, just like me am so glad to find here at the last moment before leaving Seminyak. Definitely on my “every-time-come -back” list! (I had Nutty Handover、Ocean Salad、Smashed Avo、Cappuccino, wish I have space...
