Warung Middle — Restaurant in Bali

I got food poisoning after having the fried rice with prawns last evening. Resulting in one of the worst nights of my life running back and forth to the restroom throwing up and enormous stomach pain. And no, this was more than the “Bali belly” which is to be expected. It was like a near death experience. I really hope no one else had the same dish as me, (it’s for sure the last time in my life I’ll ever be able to have it). Sincerely disappointed with this place, ordered a coconut in a glass of ice, but frankly it only tasted like watered down ice. Followed by a chicken avocado salad, it literally was the grossest dish presented to me in my time in Bali. With mayonnaise all over the dish, I told the server it was inedible, and requested a new salad with no dressing. She asked if we would like to pay for a second salad. Management needs to take a serious look at the menu and customer service in order to thrive in this emerging...

I love it here - an amazing place for a morning coffee with a great view. But, if you eat here you’re insane. The kitchen is essentially part of the toilet, the chefs and barmen don’t wash their hands, and when I once asked a waitress why they just leave the toilet without using the sink she said they wash their hands with the bum gun.
