I had the pleasure of dining at 168 Food Court near Nagoya Hills in Batam, and I must say, it’s a fantastic spot—especially for seafood lovers. While the variety of dishes here is impressive, the steamed grouper is the real star of the show.

The steamed grouper was absolutely exceptional—perfectly cooked, tender, and incredibly fresh. The flavours were light yet rich, with just the right amount of seasoning that complemented the natural taste of the fish without overpowering it. The dish was served hot, with a fragrant soy-based sauce and subtle aromatic touches that made it irresistible. It was a comforting, satisfying choice that left me wanting more.

Not only was the fish perfectly prepared, but the portion was generous and the price was very affordable given the quality. The food court itself is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience even better.

Located just across Nagoya Mall (5min walk), there were 2 sections, on the left; the famous Love Seafood with the freshest and tastiest dishes and on the right; an open air beer garden with like more than 10 type of beer from around the world and over 30 stalls cooking the widest variety of local food. If you are here, either alone, small group or even if you are doing a corporate dinner of 100 pax, this place will be a good choice.
