Arrived around 8pm or so. Restaurant seems understaffed and it took us a while to find someone to seat us. Once seated we were more or less left on our own device and we were not even provided with a menu. We had to get our own menu and only managed to secure the attention of a server after a while. To our disappointment, almost everything we wanted to get is sold out but it was understandable as it was a long weekend crowd. After placing our orders for food and drink, we were again left on our device for a long time before the drinks were finally brought over. The food came about an hour after we ordered. Meanwhile we were "entertained" by the live singer assaulting our eardrums. Foodwise, the total cost came up to be about 1.4m rupiah. We order two crabs (about 600gms each), 1 grouper (tiny), cereal prawns (frozen cos live prawns were sold out), crispy baby squid, fish maw soup and a fried rice. Crabs - salted eggs crabs don't taste of salted eggs and were overcooked. Pepper crab was good. Fish - was fresh enough n sauce was ok. But the fish was overcooked n tough. There were quite a lot of scales left on it. Baby squid - bad, taste weird, not crispy and tough. Worst rendition of this dish I ever had. Prawns - acceptable even though it was frozen. Fried rice - bland. It was edible but nothing I will eat again voluntarily. Fish maw soup - the only item that was passable. Overall, there are better seafood places in batam. This place was a disappointment. Would rather have...

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! There only one other family dining in the area when we eat there during a Wednesday afternoon.

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’m honestly shocked at how bad both the food and service were. Let me break it down: • Fish sauce was absolutely disgusting—inedible and left a terrible aftertaste. • Yellow sauce was so overpowering with lemongrass that it ruined the dish entirely. • Crab tasted very bitter. • The crab sauce tasted like those cheap chili packets from KFC. For the price we paid, this is a complete joke. • We specifically ordered kailan, but they brought us cabbage. When we pointed out their mistake, the staff actually argued with us and insisted it was kailan. Anyone can see from the picture it’s NOT. Either they don’t know their own menu or they just don’t care.

The service was just as bad. Staff were glued to their phones, ignored us, and made us feel like we were a bother. We were wearing white shirts and they didn’t even bother to offer covers, despite serving messy dishes. Basic customer care was completely missing.

I left feeling angry and disappointed. honestly worried about food safety here. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and your stomach go somewhere else! This place does not deserve your business.

Trust me...

The restaurant is spacious and well lit, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It wasn't windy outdoors but the number of fans installed helped with the heat.

We ordered butter hepo, steamed scallops, sweet and sour snapper, sambal kangkong, salted egg crab, lobster, calamari, harbour bay style steamed grouper, and the egg fried rice.

Both types of fish were fantastic! The meat was sweet and so fresh that you could see the layers of meat as you cut through it. The sweet and sour snapper was fried to perfection as the skin was super crispy and the skin fell off the meat easily.

The butter hepo was a bit weird as it's not the usual butter we're used to. It's darker in colour and doesn't have the regular butter texture or taste. The hepo was also a little overcooked as the meat was stuck in its shell. The hepo were also pretty small in size, so it wasn't very pleasant to hacve to scrape out the meat.

The calamari, kangkong, and steamed scallops were nice but nothing really special. My friends really enjoyed the crab and lobster, and I did not have any.

The egg fried rice was served in a really generous portion. I usually expect egg fried rice to be the hongkong/taiwan style, but it turned out more to be like nasi goreng pattaya. No complaints, though, as it was decent.

This is one of the better seafood places so far....

The restaurant looks nice at the front entrance. Other than that. All sucks. The sambal kangkung taste more like chilli kangkung with lots of chilli. The prawn full of yellow flour which is tasteless and hardly edible. We’ve ordered fish maw soup but was sent shark fin soup. We drank the shark fin soup and it was totally tasteless. The worst shark fins soup we’ve ever had in our life. Then they replaced with the fish maw soup which was slightly better taste but full of white peppery taste. Fish maw was not fully braised and cooked. The price of the crab was not properly communicated as we heard 400k rupiah per kg but the bill shows 490k rupiah per kg. Mainly due to the live band was too loud at this small establishment. The bill was wrongly charge twice. We had 600gm of crab but was charged 1kg price at first. When I told the cashier, they changed to 700gm which we clarified with the order taker and in the end we managed to get the bill right at 600gm. It was a total disaster meal. Not recommended to visit this restaurant again. So disappointed with the food.
