To start it off, it has nice concept and design with quite a few choices of food and drinks here. A new hangout place with nice view of the sea.

Sadly, we were very disappointed with a couple things that happened when visiting. We were directed to the table where we sat. Not long after that, the waiter was taking order of our food and drinks. There were five of us. We ordered FIVE drinks and TWO food.

After a while (20 minutes) of waiting, a waitress came with just ONE drink for one of us. This is when thing gets very disappointing. She puts the drink and she was saying "This is the drink, so are you FIVE sharing the same drink ??" One of us was saying that we were waiting for our food and drinks to come, then she left. She should have checked what we have ordered instead of giving that STATEMENT to us, which is a shame that they have a nice place but very poor training for that waitress. We could have complained that the remaining of our orders didn't came at the same time and it took quite a while for our orders to be served to us, they should be grateful that we didn't complain but instead giving that inappropriate and disrespectful statement to us. The food we ordered weren't nice and cold. Other waiter had to ask our table several times if we have order the food he was intending to serve because the tables were not equipped with table numbers.

The thing that cheered us was the TRAINEE. She was wearing different colored shirt (white shirt), very polite and helpful. She even apologized to us that she didn't served good enough because she is still new to the job.

This place is very potential but it is a shame that the service given was nothing better than it could have been.

Sadly will not visit again if they are not fixing their poor services...

I decided to try this restaurant after seeing many positive reviews. At first, the impression was promising — the ambiance was stunning and there were performers dancing around, creating a lively atmosphere.

However, things went downhill once the food was served.

The first dish, salted egg squid, was a major disappointment. It was tasteless, clearly made with instant powdered mix and deep-fried, which is far from the authentic preparation I expected.

Next came the clams. While the flavor was somewhat acceptable, several clams contained sand and some were rotten inside — very unpleasant.

The worst experience was the steamed lobster. When it arrived, I noticed the head was undercooked and the flesh was still frozen inside. I strongly suspected it was a frozen lobster that hadn’t been properly prepared. It was disgusting, and I handed it back to the staff. Shockingly, there was no apology or explanation. They took it to the kitchen without saying a word, and only after 15–20 minutes did they come back with some fried mushrooms as a form of service recovery. At that point, I didn’t feel safe eating anything else they served.

I honestly don’t understand where all the glowing reviews came from. It made me wonder if they were fake or written by friends and family. Be cautious — those reviews may be misleading. I definitely wouldn’t...

Please avoid this restaurant if possible.

1: Staff’s comprehension of English is beyond words. I don’t blame them because this is Batam, it’s not their first language, but they should at least have 2-3 who can understand English? The ordering process was 100% frustrating.

2: I asked for iced water, which the lady who spoke good English said they do serve. We waited for a good 10-15mins, no sign of our water. I walked up to the bar and ask and the lady asked if I’m having buffet or ala carte, I replied Ala Carte and in her words: Ala Carte no water. Well, why in the world would the first lady tell me that they serve iced water?

3: Food takes a super long time to arrive. We reached the restaurant at 7pm. Ordered at around 7.20pm, our drinks (Guinness, iced tea, and a cocktail) was only served at 8pm. They served us a pasta that we did not order, and the fried rice that we did order, did not make an appearance at all. The taste of the food was decent but the portion was very small.

4: I specifically called to ask what time the live band will be up, and the guy who answered said 8pm in English. By 8.15pm there was no sight of the live band so we asked the staff and he said 10pm. 🤦🏼‍♀️

5: We ended the meal still feeling hungry but a full stomach of anger and frustration. The meal cost approx 1.7million IDR.
