Hidden Gem for Authentic Suan Cai Yu in Harbourfront!
If you're a fan of the sour and spicy flavors of suan cai yu (pickled mustard fish soup), Suji is an absolute must-try! Tucked away in HarbourFront bay, this unassuming restaurant serves up some of the most flavorful and authentic Sichuan-style fish dishes I've had in Singapore.
There are four private rooms for large groups upon request
What we loved:
The Suan Cai Yu: The broth is the star of the show - perfectly balanced with a tangy, spicy kick that's incredibly addictive. The fish was fresh, tender, and absorbed all the delicious flavors.
Generous Portions: The portions are very generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends and family.
Friendly Service: The staff was attentive and helpful, making recommendations and ensuring we had a great dining experience.
Overall: Suji is a fantastic find for anyone craving authentic Sichuan flavors. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but well worth seeking out. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

Regarding the food we tried the Chong Qing Spicy Chicken, Suan Cai Yu and Prawn Sandwich. The taste was quite good and you could really taste and feel the typical Sichuan spices. The drinks, especially the recommended Suji Rosella Lychee Tea was very refreshing and had a great taste to it.
Would definitely come again and recommend to...
