🍜 Customer Review: Hakata Ikkousa - A Taste of Japan in Medan
Looking for a taste of Japan in Medan? Hakatta Ikkousa promises to take you on a culinary journey through the flavors of Japan.
During my visit, I tried a variety of dishes, and while the taste was just okay, I'd rate my experience a 3.5/5. The speed of service was reasonable, and I didn't have to wait too long for my food.
The service, however, was average. While the staff was friendly, I didn't feel like they went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional.
In terms of pricing, I found it to be above average. While I understand that quality comes at a price, I didn't feel like the food was worth the cost.
The environment was just okay. While it was clean and comfortable, it lacked the charm and ambiance that I look for in a dining experience.
Would I go back? Probably not. While Hakatta Ikkousa offers a taste of Japan, I didn't find anything that would make me want to return.
Overall, Hakatta Ikkousa is a decent option if you're craving Japanese food in Medan. However, if you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, you may want to...
Read moreHad the special pork ramen (condiments include 1 boiled egg, 3 slices chasiu, chopped scallions). Taste is good and very close to the authentic one you'd get in Japan.
We came for a weekday lunch, so the place was not packed and comfortable. Amazed with the restroom management by the way, it's spotlessly clean, probably the best maintained out of all restaurants in town.
The only slight downside is the service. It was not a busy period and there were way more than enough number of staff on floor, but they seemed to prefer idling and chit-chatting with each other. Our finished ramen bowls were left for way too long, flies started to flock around our table. It would have been nice if the staff can pay more attention and offer to clear the dishes before we had to ask - also worth the attention as to why flies are even flying around in the dining area, it being an indoor...
Read moreMust Have Try : Pork Tantan Ramen. They have 2 options for the Tantan Ramen. Light and Thick Soup. For me personally, the thick soup is the best one. Rich in taste. If you are the spicy food lover, ask for more 'cabai potong' to the waitress.
If you dine in with 2-3 people, don't forget to try their Gyoza and Pipi Babi (they serve it with some veggies too). . But if you go alone, no need to order these 2 because it's too much.
For drink, just go with the hot/cold ocha. Free reffill.
Service is so nice. You just need to wait 15-20 minutes until the food is ready to be served. They accept cash/card/QRIS for payment.
This place is always crowded during lunch and dinner, so it's better to come here not at those period if you want to chit-chat or...
