Restoran Sop Ikan Istimewa — Restaurant in City of Medan

My first time in Medan and my group of friends and I visited Sop Ikan. Everything we ordered were really good.

The Tauco Udang Kelong (mixed vegetables or sorts) has baby prawns that were perfectly done, not over or undercooked, and goes very well with the sauce.

The Sop Ikan Tenggiri (fish soup) is like a all-time favourite; very homey, flavourful and fresh. Goes very well with a bowl of rice. Same goes for the Gerapu Asam Mani (fish dish).

The Tahu Lumpia Seafood (tauhu) is rather interesting. It's a blend of tauhu, seafood and mixed vegetables. It doesn't really taste like tauhu, it's so much more flavourful and compact. It reminds me of the dimsum carrot cake Singapore has. Highly recommend this to try.

The Ayam Goreng (fried chicken dish) is nicely fried, not too oily and meaty. And goes well with the Mie Goreng.

The Golden Fish Special Juice was one of my favourite. It's a mix of pineapple and other fruits/vegetables I can't recall, blended into juice, but it was so refreshing. We didn't add sugar within, we didn't have to honestly!

Resto yang berada di Kota Medan ini letaknya strategis, menyajikan menu ikan yang lengkap. Menu andalannya adalah sop ikan tenggiri atau bawal putih bersama tomyam udang kelong yang saya pilih saat makan di sini. Banyak pilihan makanan di sini terutama bagi penyuka seafood. Namun ada juga pilihan ayam atau daging bagi yang tidak menyukai seafood.

Rasanya yang terasa gurih dibumbui dengan bumbu yang khas asin-asam menjadikan sop ikan di sini terasa nyaman di lidah.

Untuk minuman banyak pilihan, baik teh, kopi atau juice.

Restoran ini terdiri dari dua lantai di mana pengunjung bisa memilih dari sekitar 100 kursi yang disediakan di sana. Di mana masing-masing lantai disediakan toilet dan wastafel.

Pelayanannya ramah dan relatif cepat sehingga kita tidak sempat terlalu lapar.
