Rumah Makan Bintang Bawal — Restaurant in City of Medan

Dear RM Bintang Management:

The food is delicious and yet price is affordable, We order a Ikan bawal steam,Gulai kepala ikan,Ayam goreng 3 rasa and Udang gala, turns out its very delicious and my parents were really liked it. Unfortunately they need to improve their management system and their waiter were not really responsive to the customer when they were called, they were talked to each other, I called them 3 times and yet they still talk to each other, they should put manager in charge on this restaurant instead of the owner, so the management in this restaurant can be improved like Bunga Rampai, good service and yet responsive to the customer, Also the table were also not hygiene so sticky, so please be attentive on cleanliness as well. Hopefully this suggestion will improve their management system and I am looking forward to visit here if I got a chance again. Thank you :)

its consider one of the oldest local resto, serving local padang mixed rice. There are a few place named like this Bintang. but it kinda stated they didnt have any brances. Definetly a sign the food is soo good till others copy the brand. Here is famous for the steam fish, but i dont really know the english name, they call it "bawal" locally. Fried chicken are ok also. the waiter basically gonna put every available dishes on your table whole serving you, can just pick what you wanna try, and stick with that, they charge you full portion even if you just taste it.( its normal isnt it? ) but definetly worth visiting to try the local...

OVERPRICE both for the dish and beverage. No price in the menu so you won't know what you'll need to pay after the bill comes. It's not that it needs special skills to cook the dish that they serve. It's a HOME COOKED dish, and it's not even a cafe inside a mall. Kindly expect mosquitoes going around when you're eating. This will be my first and last time eating here. There's another place that serve EXACTLY THE SAME dish, EXACTLY THE SAME flavour with reasonable price.

They called this place well known but there wasn't a single other customer eating here...
