We reserved for a birthday dinner here, and I honestly can't express how happy and satisfied we are with the whole experience. From the very beginning, when I first reached out with lots of questions, the staff was always kind, helpful, and professional. Their communication already gave a great first impression, even before we arrived.
One detail I truly appreciated was that they provided a buggy car to escort us.
When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our beach-facing table. The wind was a little strong, which is understandable given the location, but the ambience overall was beautiful and calming. The place itself is visually stunning, with a magical aesthetic that feels both elegant and relaxed.
What really made the evening unforgettable, though, was the service. The team was consistently attentive, always checking if we needed anything else, but never in an intrusive way. They even offered to take photos of us together, which we really appreciated. Every interaction felt sincere, and that made all the difference.
The courses were well-timed, and every dish was nicely presented and delicious. It was clear that everything was prepared with care and attention to detail.
We are so, so thankful for the entire team. Wish I could mention names, but so many people assisted us that day, and every single one of them was just so kind and professional. Of course, the place is beautiful and magical, but the service is what truly set the experience apart. We left with full hearts and happy smiles. This was such a special night for us, and we couldn’t recommend this...
Read moreWhile we stayed at The Meru Sanur hotel, we had our breakfast in Arunika Restaurant for a few days.
The breakfast was superb. Many varieties of food which could satisfy many kinds of palates. Based on my visits during our 4 days stay, my favourites were: Chia seed pudding with thick & creamy coconut sauce. Nasi goreng balinese Nasi goreng chili oil Egg benedict Pork bacon Cappuccino Traditional sweets - changes everyday
Because the hotel was fully booked during the holiday season, the breakfast area was full and the service unfortunately couldn't handle the chaotic situation perfectly.
We had to wait for quite a long time for our coffees and eggs to be served on our table.
Room for improvements: every single days, i grabbed my chia pudding (yes, it's that delicious!) and i found it hard to find the small spoon that fit into the jar. There were many spoons that were bigger in size, but couldn't fit that chia pudding jar. And i found it a bit irritating. On the first day, my coffee came with that small spoon. And the days after, there was no small spoon in sight. Please stock up more small spoons!
the coffee station & egg station should be where the seafood laksa/dim sum station is. So when we first arrived, we always remember to order our coffee & egg first. And while we wait for the coffee & eggs, we can enjoy the other...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Arunika restaurant on 1st January 2025 and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped in, the warm ambiance and tasteful décor set the stage for a fantastic meal.
The menu was diverse, offering a delightful selection of dishes to cater to all tastes. I ordered for the starter Lombok Oyster On Ice 3pcs and croquetes lobster , for the main course New Zealand Baby Lamb and for the dessert Tapai Cheesecak. I Admire deeply New Zealand Baby Lamb, it was a masterpiece—beautifully plated, perfectly cooked (The meat is melt-in-your-mouth soft), and bursting with flavor and Mashed Potatoes. The freshness of the ingredients and the creativity in every dish truly stood out.
What made the experience even more exceptional was the service. Our waiter, " Candra ", was nothing short of amazing. He greeted us with a warm smile, well explanation, and ensured that every need was met throughout the meal. His attention to detail, quick responses, and genuine enthusiasm made us feel so valued.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable...
