My recent visit to The Bay Restaurant left me thoroughly unimpressed. While the breathtaking view was the only redeeming aspect, everything else fell far below expectations. Allow me to elaborate on the various disappointments I encountered during my meal.

The food served at The Bay Restaurant was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. Each dish lacked flavor, leaving my taste buds in a state of perpetual boredom. The offerings were tasteless, leaving me longing for even a hint of culinary creativity. It is disheartening when a restaurant fails to deliver on the most fundamental aspect of dining pleasure: an enjoyable meal.

The staff's incompetence only further marred my experience. They seemed utterly clueless and incapable of providing even basic service. Not only was the food late in arriving at my table, but it was also served cold. Their inability to properly manage the kitchen and ensure timely and warm dishes demonstrated a lack of attention to detail and care for the customers.

Adding insult to injury, The Bay Restaurant consistently suffered from an alarming lack of stocked items. It felt like a game of chance, hoping to find something on the menu that was actually available. The frequent unavailability of ingredients and menu items left me perplexed and frustrated. How can a restaurant operate with such a chronic lack of supplies?

Although the scenic view provided a brief respite from the disappointing culinary experience, it does little to compensate for the numerous shortcomings. A stunning backdrop cannot salvage a meal that is tasteless, staff that is incompetent, and an establishment that is perpetually out of stock.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend The Bay Restaurant based on my unfortunate encounter. The lackluster and flavorless food, coupled with the ineptitude of the staff and the perpetual unavailability of items, paint a dismal picture. If you seek a truly enjoyable dining experience, I urge you to look elsewhere, where your taste buds and overall satisfaction will not be...

Reading the reviews of this place I was really hesitant to go but decided to check it out and decide for myself. It's a nice looking place at the water front in a apparantly 5* hotel. Only 4 other guests in the huge place. My burger and cocktail were good and very reasonably priced. I was planning give them a good rating were it not that they suddenly were having a karaoke night for all to hear. There was absolutely no escaping it even it was a floor higher. I asked the waitress what was going on and she said they were having an event. In order not to vend my disgust at the waitress I asked if the manager was there but he wasn't. Back at the lobby I asked again and they said he was on break. (9 pm.) Anyway..... You better spend your money on the fish market and get what you pay for rather than at this "5*" hotel that operates as a pig...

Wow, what can I say. Outside looks fancy and stylish, but really that is all you get. They charge you 250K for a breakfast buffet. Food is horrendous, bland and what should be served hot = cold. And if you would like to use their pool, be prepared to be charged an additional 150k p.p This is a typical place where everything is priced for “views” but the actual quality is no where to be found. Seriously, a large Bintang = 150k if you go to Le cucine, you get a large Bintang for 50k plus a meal that leaves you satisfied and many more other places on this island.
