Saya sebenarnya ingin menulis ulasan positif — karena ayamnya enak banget, gurih dan juicy, persis seperti yang diharapkan dari KFC. Tapi sayangnya, pengalaman saya cukup mengecewakan.
Memang saat saya datang sore hari, tempatnya cukup ramai. Tapi yang bikin bingung, ada beberapa orang yang pesan setelah saya, malah dapat makanannya duluan, sementara saya harus menunggu lebih dari satu jam. Rasanya seperti pesanan tidak diatur berdasarkan urutan, dan staf memilih mau keluarkan pesanan yang mana dulu.
Setelah saya akhirnya komplain ke kasir, pesanan saya keluar dalam 5 menit — yang bikin saya curiga, mungkin pesanan saya sudah siap dari tadi tapi lupa dikeluarkan.
Selain itu, AC-nya juga tidak dingin sama sekali, jadi ruangannya cukup panas dan bikin nunggu jadi makin tidak nyaman.
Sebenarnya akan sangat membantu staf kalau mesin self-order (kios) bisa digunakan, tapi saya coba dan ternyata tidak berfungsi. Semua harus pesan di kasir, yang membuat antrian dan kebingungan makin parah.
Saya rasa ini bukan sepenuhnya salah staf — sepertinya memang kekurangan staf parah. Tapi manajemen harus turun tangan. Tempat fast food seharusnya tidak sampai bikin pelanggan nunggu selama ini, bahkan saat jam sibuk.
Makanannya enak, tapi manajemennya buruk. Sayang banget, karena ini satu-satunya KFC di Labuan Bajo — padahal bisa jadi tempat yang bagus kalau dikelola lebih baik.
I was honestly ready to write a positive review — the chicken is really, really good, exactly what you’d expect from KFC. But the experience left me quite frustrated.
To be fair, it was crowded when I came in the afternoon. But what confused me was that some people who ordered after me got their food first, while I waited over an hour. It felt like the staff were choosing which orders to prepare and serve first, instead of following the queue properly.
Only after I approached the counter to complain did my food suddenly come out within 5 minutes — which just made me wonder if my order had been sitting there or forgotten.
Also, the air con wasn’t cold at all, which made the long wait even more uncomfortable.
It would really help the staff if the self-order kiosks were working, but I tried and they weren’t. Everything had to be done at the counter, which just added to the crowd and confusion.
I don’t think the staff are entirely to blame — it did seem like they were seriously short-handed. But management needs to step up. A fast food outlet shouldn’t have this kind of delay, even during peak hours.
