Maravia — Restaurant in Flores

I wish the food + price was better because I would’ve loved to give a better review. I ordered the birria tacos & they were gross. The consumme that comes with is a tablespoon amount for 3 tacos 🤣 there was barely any meat and even the small amount was 80% fat. The drink was AMAZING! I got a blue mocktail. However, the prices are ridiculous for the small amount of food you get and then for it to not be good… 100% not worth it. Oh also it took 20 minutes for my mocktail and even longer for the tacos when there was only one other table. The ambiance is great. Lovely Mexican music and cute interior though so maybe just go for drinks and not food … even then, way more worthwhile affordable options...

I rarely write reviews, but this experience warrants one. The restaurant presents itself as upscale, but unfortunately, it only delivers on price—not quality. The food is astonishingly expensive for what you get: minuscule portions that would leave a child hungry, and to make matters worse, the taste doesn’t justify the cost.

The dishes looked like they were trying too hard to be “artsy,” but beneath the presentation, the flavors were bland or mismatched. I left feeling both hungry and disappointed. If you’re looking for a place that offers value, taste, or satisfaction, I strongly suggest...

Amazing staff especially Ary & Emylia they made us feel so welcome and that's why we came back every night during our stay in lauban bajo. The best I've met during my time in Indonesia! Cocktails are fantastic also highly recommend the dragon fruit daiquiri 🍸 Would have been a 5/5 but spoilt by the owner who likes to get extremely drunk each night on the premises and start fights with customers. As a businessman myself, this should never happen, hopefully, he will take note and also treat his fabulous...
