Crio wants to do it all; it's altogether a brunch, tapas, bar, and dessert place. While the dessert was superb, the tapas and cocktail was just not strong enough to stand on it's own. We came for dinner so I can't comment on their brunch.

That said, let's talk food. The salad is exceptional; super fresh and good balance between the soft and the crunch. The carbonara pasta is excellent. The beef tartar is super fresh and good, and I love how they pair it with some kind of hash brown. The Buntut Bakar is very decent and very meaty. The Salmon Carpacio shines like a bright star!! The salmon is drench in some out of this world broth and paired with minced truffle, it's simply an explosion of taste on steroid in my mouth. Grilled chicken is very good, and when they pair it with super smooth mash potato it suddenly become a masterpiece. The pizzas are awesome, I especially recommend the mushroom pizza.
Now let's talk desserts. It's an open secret that this restaurant has a US trained chocolatier as the pastry chef, so I expected good stuff and boy he didn't disappoint. One look at the pastry kitchen you know they mean business. The fact they have special counter for their pastries means they're proudly showing you their good stuff. All the chocolates, the mousse, the cakes, fused with unusual ingredients gave the patrons out of this world experience. Lastly, I have to warn you about their chocolate-covered macadamia nut; I'm not responsible if you're addicted to it.
Ambiance is great for all purposes, either you want to have full dinner with family, or enjoy quiet time with some drinks and sweets, or hang out with your friends. Is it expensive? A bit, but worth every penny you spend here. Would I come back? In...
Read moreYou love chocolate? Then this one is a must visit. I went here with my friend a few days ago, and we have 2 of the handcrafted chocolate:
Le Rouge (the red one) at IDR 65K Vanilla Bavaroise w/ Planifonia Vanilla Bean, Strawberry Raspeberry Gelee, Almond Cake & Praline Crunch
Mr. Earl (the orange one) at IDR 65K Apa aja di dalamnya? As per their information: Dark Chocolate infused Earl Grey Tea Mousse, Orange Caramel Cremeux, Dark Chocolate Sponge, Dark Chocolate Sable
Both of them are recommended. Not overwhelmed by the sweetness. We also have plain croissant (at IDR 26K); but this one not made in here. For beverage, we have iced long black (at IDR 45K), americano (at IDR 45K) & caramel latte (At IDR 55K).
They are not serving handcrafted chocolate only, but also tapas and other main course and alcohol. You may dine in here with your family or with your colleagues. If you wish to enjoy live music, better come on Friday or Saturday. Since there is no outdoor area, there is one area for smokers, at the front of the restaurant. Sort of like private room. There is also another private room on the second floor, above the bar.
When we were chatting, the chef: Richie Pratadaja approached us and three of us have a little bit of chit chat. And surprisingly, we got complimentary: Hazelnut Bar (Crunchy Hazelnut Gianduja).
Totally love them! A must visit, especially if you...
