Genki Sushi — Restaurant in Jakarta

Food quality - ok! 4/5 Cleanliness & Hygiene - 1/5 Plate & utensils not clean enough. Still oily and lots of finger prints ocha glass totally understand that you guys not providing straw anymore. However its so ewww that ur glass is so dirty. (Ada sisa makanan nempel and item2). Tp ur staff ada yg notice and offer to replace my ocha right away saying am not lucky today. Di sofa ada small cockroach running here and there. Am about to screaming... lack of man power i guess. I came exactly around 7pm, almost full house and i can sense ur server very busy and hectic. Took a while for me to get my barcode. And when the barcode cane, turns out its ESB barcode for old cust. Lol I ask for plate and etc, took them for more than 10mins of wait...

at the end of my meal one of the supervisor / server offer for a complimentary ice cream as a token of apologize. Luckily ur ice cream taste quite tasty. Atleast its the only sweet thing i can taste from my dining experience at genki sushi.

And why the heck you guys put an empty handsanitizer dispenser ? Its definitly been empty for a while. Isn’t handsanitizer one of the crucial thing right now? My only advise to u guys, pls send ur QC staff and plssss improve ur cleanliness :( its so ewww am sorry bhay. I would like to give overall 1/5.

You can find this Genki Sushi inside Sogo Department Store in Central Park Mall on UG floor. This Genki Sushi give you a new experience to order sushi and get the sushi on your table, they use "food train" to deliver your order to your table. So many sushi's options here also other authentic japanese dishes. I tried some of their sushi, also jellyfish salad. Their original sushi is really good also and fresh. To order here, you will get an ipad to order the food, 1 order maximum only 4 menu, so if you want to order more, you need to complete the order first before move to the next order. The train will come everytime your order is ready, so do not expect all of your order will come at the same time. After you take the order from the train, do not forget to push the button to make the train back to their kitchen. If you order hot ocha, you can make your own ocha from the powder. And of course it is free refill. For the price is really affordable and for the taste really good, and the place is clean. If you want to do payment, the accept credit card, debit card, meal...

Bad experience eating here because there was small cockroaches (imagine, not only one??) in our booth. Waitress did try to catch one but then didnt do anything about the others, offered us to move only when we almost finished our food, we did get complementary dessert as apology but that was still HEALTH HAZARD since the cockroaches roam around the sushi belt. Staff apologized & assured they’re gonna do better, but then I read reviews from a year ago with the same problem. They obviously haven’t done anything to improve 😕 which prompted me to write this review.
