Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ — Restaurant in Jakarta

I visited this place (again) on Nov 5th 2020 at around 3 - 4 pm. It's also when I took these pictures. This resto is AYCE (all you can eat) with 90min duration and I loveeee it haha

The place is quiet. Maybe because it's a weird time to eat AYCE.

I think they fill only 50% of total available since I can see big red X on some of the tables. The menu is scanned using QR Code. They provide private room.

The waiters are present. I think I barely call them myself because they keep coming to my table asking "do you want to refill? Do you want to order more meat?", Getting dirty and empty plates. Not in annoying way and not too often as well.

They are not stingy with utensils cutlery. Tables are clean. Waiters are friendly. I will definitely come back.

I must mention the ice cream....... I SUPER LOVE the ice cream 😍😍 vanilla ice cream with a little bit of caramel...

don’t ever make an appointment here. the service is extremely bad and worse and they don’t have any no solution after all. i’ve put my name on the waiting list and waited for an hour cause they said they will make a call when it’s about my turn. but i got no call, so i tried to reach them back by calling and they said that they couldn’t reach me through my phone call. like what? when my phone is always on all the time. and kindly marked that they don’t even try to reach me through WhatsApp call which is totally free and effortless. after i called they said that i should wait for another 20 mins. oh no thank you. i wont bother spending my money here ever again. please be respectful & responsible to your customers. you really wasted my time...

okay, the food is SOLID 5/5 but the service worse than 1/5

4 persons been in waiting line for 2hrs++ without telling us that we can split 2 by 2

when asking for menu simply don't listen and ignore so we need to repeat the order MORE THAN TWICE 🤔

and the worst, took 15mins++ for a plate to serve and when we're almost done, random plate come to our table 👎👎 the good taste is ruined by their bad service, they need a better training and management, ASAP!!

okay enough about complain, straight objective review on the menu

way better than any all you can eat yakiniku buffet, the beef is so smooth that all you can do is to swallow, no need to chew especially the one with marbling meat, 228K is good price...
