One of my favorite Japanese restaurants to get good Kushiyaki (skewered meat). The place is a little hard to find as it is located in the vicinity of Chandranaya, a historical building that dates back more than a century. Chandranaya building itself is located behind the Novotel hotel.

Once you've gotten to this hidden gem, you can either choose to sit on the traditional Japanese style tables (don't worry you don't have to kneel) or the regular tables or over the counters. Take some time to understand the menu as there are a lot of choices. I recommend the Buta-maki salted-style and I love to pair it with white rice with miso soup. It takes a while for the food to arrive but worth the wait.

This place is hidden treasure. At the first beginning I was few times asking to the security guard around to seek where is the place, even it has been shown from Google map that I was arriving. The place is located on right side of cendra naya building, if you using taxi, drop off on the novotel lobby then take a short walk for 50 m.

On the inside we can find a very authentic Japanese design with a tepanyaki bar for individual table, continental table and of course a Japanese style table if you willing to sit on the floor.

There are set menu and ala carte menu. As person who been living on Japan for 5 years what I can say is the food is what are you looking for authentic Japanese dishes.
