!!! WARNING: THIS HOTEL IS COMPLETELY INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES !!!||Our experience at Favehotel was truly horrible! We have been traveling all over Asia, and it was the first time that we had to cancel our stay on arrival. The hotel might look okay at first glance, but once you get into your room- prepare to be horrified! There were at least 10 cockroaches around it!! The bedsheets had stains and there was garbage under the beds covered with a tremendous level of dust. But this was only the beginning of our nightmare. We of course immediately communicated all this to the reception, but their reaction was far from acceptable. The guy was just smiling the whole time like it’s something funny! It also was clear that we are not the first people to complain about this problem. After some unclear responses and not even an apology, he offered us a different room, assuring us that it is clean and not infested. We agreed to give them a chance, but this turned out to be a mistake as well - despite what he said there were in fact dirt and cockroaches in the second room as well! Utterly disappointed, we went back down and asked to cancel our stay (even though it was already past midnight. The receptionist still just kept giggling and said that we need to talk to his manager first. We waited at least 15 minutes only to hear that the manager is “busy”, but if we do not cancel, they will give us a “premium room”. To our question of how we can be sure that it is not infested either, he promised to inspect it himself first. Another 15 minutes later he returned only to tell us that “unfortunately there are cockroaches there too”. It was clear that the whole hotel was a dangerously infested unhygienic scam. ||Please do not repeat our mistake, and avoid this place at all costs! We truly hope it will...
