Offers a mixed experience, particularly due to issues with facilities and service. 🍖🎤
[+] The food, especially the dry-aged grilled meats, jap chae, and tteokbokki, is generally enjoyable. However, the bone-in ribs were disappointingly tough and hard to chew.
[-] The karaoke system is problematic, starting with the remote control being in Korean, which makes it difficult to use unless you're fluent. This forces customers to stay in front of the monitor to manage the playlist. Additionally, the microphone batteries had to be replaced twice, showing a lack of preparation from the service team. [-] Although there are many staff members, the service is lacking in attentiveness. They often need to be called over rather than proactively offering service, such as clearing dirty dishes or serving desserts. [-] Parking is challenging, especially for those unfamiliar with the SCBD complex, making valet parking almost a necessity. [-] The karaoke machine's song database is outdated and lacks variety, which diminishes the karaoke experience.
Mr. Park Korean BBQ Grill has potential with its flavorful food, but it needs significant improvements in service, facilities, and the overall karaoke experience to remain competitive in the increasingly crowded market for Korean BBQ and...
Read moreMr. Park is a Korean Resto hangout located in the middle of Jakarta City, that is, in SCBD. The parking lot is just across the street, some 70 meters from the resto. The building is like a standard Korean resto. If it is in Seoul, it might have been with plate of "Recommended by The Mayor of Seoul" right in its entrance wall. The entrance looking glass is easy to open, just wave your hand! The food is simplified Korean food, with the smaller size compared to its Seoul resto sister...(well, good for the girls, but bad for the boys :) ).... absolutely a wonderful little family-owned korean bbq restaurant.
the atmosphere is clean, comfortable and authentic casual korean dining. i had the opportunity to meet the boss and his son. i know i may be stereotyping a lil too much for saying this but to speak otherwise i would be lying, this Korean family really is that typical hardworking korean. Boss, the dad, works as one of the most friendliest host i have every met while his boy son cooks away in the kitchen.....and oh yes they both look k-pop poster perfect and hot😆.....yes the place is small, yes parking is terrible, yes the decor is average, yes its hot..... but we connected like a family, and family deserves all the stars in the sky.
price is worth every single penny and the service from the rest of the staffs are out of this planet... i mean i can sense all their smiles even through their masks🤗.
Spectacular job guys.... all thumbs up and definitely keep that beautiful...
