I was so excited to try it since it’s been super popular recently, and I thought I would never have the chance to. BUT GOOD LORD, what a coincidence that I actually passed by! Since it’s weekday and there were no crowds, I decided to go for it, despite being fueled from a big lunch and in a rush, but then, I couldn’t miss this opportunity.
Anywayy, I decided to order the classics: a cheeseburger and a double smash. Tbh, I’ve never been a fan of beef burgers (just because I couldn’t eat beef, only certain types), I usually go for chicken burgers. At first, I was a bit disappointed since they didn’t have one, but my gut told me otherwise.
The CHEESEBURGER was LEGIT. The first bite threw me to the sky 😂 The patty was juicy and crispy, perfectly complemented by the cheese and caramelized onions. Not to mention, the bun was so soft 😭😭 Everything in one bite left me speechless. It was full of flavor, not overwhelming, with perfect textures, absolutely amazing. I was shocked because the beef patty went down so smoothly, I kind of questioned myself for a moment 🤣. I might have eaten the whole burger if it weren’t for my stomach 😢
Next, I tried the fries, which were ‘free refill’ Ordering one burger with fries is enough for two people to share. The fries were unexpectedly good. Since it’s a free refill, I had low expectations, but I was wrong. The fries weren’t oily and were fried to perfection, but remember to eat them while they’re hot! They don’t taste as good when they’re cold😢
Lastly, I had their double smash. Personally, I think it’s not my thing since the patty was doubled. It kinda gave me a ‘meaty’ smell, and I felt overwhelmed after a bite. I think it’s more about personal preference when it comes to your usual dish, so make sure to order what you like.
The drinks were refreshing but a bit too sweet for my liking. I also recommend doing takeout, as the place is small with very limited seating.
I would definitely come back for the classic...
Read morei’m not much of a burger fan, but this place got me craving for their burgers. i first tasted the mini sample burgers they gave out and oh my god it was sooo so good. the buns were crispy yet light and soft, perfectly toasted. the patty wasn’t too big, but it reminded me of a good smashed burger - crispy edges and juicy on the inside. i genuinely wish they would sell those mini burgers as part of their menu because i’d be a regular there for sure.
as for their cheeseburger, me and my friend both agree that we absolutely love it. each ingredient complimented each other without being too overpowering, so you could really taste each component without one being too dominant. the bun was soft, perfect to soak up the patty’s juices. the patty was tender and beefy. the cheese wasn’t too cheesy or salty, just right. loved how the pickle gave a fresh kick without being too strong. the onions gave a hint of sweetness. it wasn’t the saucy over-the-top type of burger, but it was simplicity and quality in its flavors. i do wish they would make the bun a bit more toasted and crispy as the mini samples tho because that bun got me craving for daayyyss.
a little note: they’re still on their soft opening phase so the menu is still limited. however, they did say they will have their complete menu in the near future. place was just so-so, like a normal burger joint, nothing too fancy or gimmicky. but honestly i’d come back for their service alone. loveeed how everyone was so friendly and well-spoken. they gave us plastic gloves to eat the burger, and there was a complimentary water station. 10/10 would...
Read moreI finally tried the hyped Mogul Burger at SCBD Park, and it quickly became one of my favorite burger places in Jakarta. The buns are a standout—soft, buttery, and lightly toasted. You can tell they make an effort with the quality, using pure butter, which gives it a rich, smooth taste.
The beef patty is juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. It doesn’t have any wild or unusual flavors, but it’s a classic, well-executed burger that does everything right. Fresh lettuce, a creamy sauce, and crispy fries on the side make the whole meal really satisfying.
It’s definitely on the pricier side for a burger, but you’re getting top-quality ingredients and a well-crafted meal. For me, it was worth the extra cost, and I’d happily go back for another.
Overall, Mogul Burger delivers on taste, quality, and a decently comfortable dining experience. If you’re up for splurging a bit on a good burger, it’s a solid choice that...
