Maybe if youre interested, youd better choose the brunch option.
I asked the CS about the dinner and was told that on the weekend be more varied for the seafood and steak option, as it is priced higer than weekdays, that there would be a lobster, oyster, etc. we went for weekend dinner there but turned out those lobster oyster prawns were served only at brunch we have only clams and crab, there wasnt even shrimp, but available ones tasted ok tho. The brunch will vary on the seafood whereas the dinner speciality would be steak, but the steak was also limited in option, they offered rib eye, sirloin, tenderloin, satay, and chicken on display. I asked ribeye and tenderloin, i was expecting that they would ask for its doneness level but no they give me a well done one and a bit too salty.
The japanese section was also not many option, there were only salmon sashimis, tuna toll, salmon roll, kani roll, wakame rolls, that was all. I also saw an influencer video that there was a suckling duck but instead i had a roasted duck, it was ok tho. The indian section was also a biiiiiiiit š¤š» lack of flavour, you know the indian food usually smells in the air, but not this one. the bread was bland &below par, it tasted like too much flour. The dimsum section was also limited to only siumai.
The oxtail soup, salad, blackpaper fish, that creamy one pasta was great! The sashimi on my first take was also great but the second one was not. The service was execllet, they helped to give a little birthday for my husband, with pretty mini cake on the house.
You should definitely ask the details on what they will serve cause sometimes ayce hotel feel like buying a gambling. I dont know maybe shouldnt expect more cos there was a b1g1 promo on chope and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt know why this happened to this restaurant.
My visit on June 29th evening was awful. No staff at the entrance, the pasta was pathetic by the looks and the taste, watery and bland. The steak took too long to arrive and when it came, it tasted like they poured the whole bottle of salt. The asparagus soup is even worse, there was no bowl in the vicinity, I had to ask to get my bowl, twice.
The food was not refilled, they clearly lack staff. No one to serve at the grill section, even after I stood there for some time, no one was caring enough to serve me.
The food variety itself is very limited. Not much you can try. The salad with cheese wheel is there but no one to mix it with the lettuce, so whatās the point of having the cheese wheel there?
And⦠the dessert, my goodness, they serve diamond ice cream, in a hotel, I donāt need to taste it, I know by the color since my old cafe serves it too, and I changed it to Brookfarm since 2 years ago. The cake? All cream and no taste, I didnāt finish mine, not worth the calories.
I sat on the long table near the stairs on the left, please try and look under the private room. Itās bloody dirty like no one cares to clean it since no one will see it anyway, but I saw it. Go check if you think Iām lying, itās less than 12 hours since my visit.
All and all, so far this is the worst paying buffet at a hotel I ever ate. Buy 1 get 1 promo doesnt mean you can lower your quality.
Not impressed at all. No...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would describe eating here as gambling. You won't know if the food you take is good until you try it. The problem is, the winning rate (of the food actually being good) is below 50%
The bad: There's not a lot of food selection compared to other hotel buffets Almost everything here is too salty. In the case where it's not, it's tasteless :/ there's almost no in-between. I got sick when eating and decided to stop before I was even full The band they called was way too loud! It really ruined the dining experience for me
The good: Their salad bar is delicious. Maybe it's because they didn't have to cook anything here hahaha Gelato is also delicious and they provide a lot of flavor choices Their charcuterie board (the one with cheese, jams, and berries) were good. Again, it's the one where they didn't have to cook anything haha Their service is top-notch. All the staff are very nice and swift on their feet
The meh: Their dessert selection and flavors are meh. Take the "small cup dessert" and the big cake (where you slice it yourself) because they're good, but the small cakes are all way too sweet Half of the live seafood section taste fresh, and the other half does not. I only recommend the big clams (kerang kampang, oysters), prawn, and crab. The smaller clams are not worth the cholesterol
Conclusion: we get a "buy 1 get 1" discount and we still think it's not worth it. Visit other hotels for a...
