Just had lunch , I have to say that it was the worst Cesar Salad i have ever ate in Indonesia-In french we would say: " fout de la gueule des gens" in english" taking advantage of people" nicely said!
Roman salad, 7 small pieces of chicken stripes and springle of cheese with dressing that was tasteless. I complained to the server to bring some olive oil et vinegar. With springle of indonesian chips in replacement of bread. What a rip off for 174.000 idr. 10 euros. When you get a salad nicoise in Nice for 10 euros. With value and quality ingredients. And as I said to server to share my comments with Alain. Who didnt even come to our table to listen to my complaint. I m not interested in a refund!!! Koi --your prices have increased significantly and your food quality has degraded. Below what other local french restuarants offer. Not to mention local resturants.
I have been your customer for many years. But this ends it here. Get a wake up call--- bring quality meals to your customers at a reasonable price.
Although the chicken and mash potatoes which was nice only costs 15.000 idr more than my cesare salad I should of had the same portion chicken on my salade( a joke) but you get my point.
Do not rip people off with cheap salade menu for the same price of a good meal at koi.
Satio food mall has many great resturants and cheaper price meal to meal. I wanted to try again Koi after several mon ths.
Strongly recommend to review your salad and meal menus to bring to a reasonable price to include your 20% add on for...
Read moreKOI is used to be my go to Sunday restaurant because it is pet friendly and the food is hearty with big portion.
It's been a while since I visited KOI until last week. And it was such a disappointment. I ordered calamari and not only the portion was tiny, it was overcooked and dry. I ordered salmon and sauté vegetables, and I got tiny salmon on the plate and there were barely any seasoning or flavour to the veggies (and this is coming from someone who like their food mild in taste).
I returned the plate to the waiter and asked the kitchen to check since 2 people in the table ordered the same food but the size of my salmon is 2/3 of my friend's salmon. They insisted it is as per the standard of 150gr of salmon, and as someone who cook baby food and weigh things on daily basis, I have strong suspicion that the weight of my salmon was around 120gr because the size was smaller than my palm.
In the past, eating in KOI used to be worth the money. I am willing to pay, provided there is value in taste and portion on the plate. In my last visit, you did not deliver. And this has been the second time I am deeply disappointed with the quality of your food and the...
Read moreLet’s start with the good: the place is located at a strategic location, great lighting and air circulation so despite me and a friend sitting in knitwear outside we were not sweating in the slightest. Their service was very attentive and food came out in no time.
Now the food. The menu looked very promising but I personally think they’re behind in taste, especially since they’re on the pricier side.
All of our dishes that came with sides of veg, salmon fillet and duck confit, had the vegetables cooked for too long they ended up very soggy and bland. Especially for the green beans.
Now the coffee. I don’t know what coffee they used, but I was disappointed when my order of iced latte came with no foam, and tasted as bland as premix coffee. It shouldn’t have come as a surprise as my order of coffee came within 2-3 minutes of placing the order.
All in all, I would have expected more attention to quality and taste...
