I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I was blown away by the tenderness of their lamb dishes. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and it literally melted in my mouth. What's even more impressive is that the consistency of flavor and taste remained the same despite their recent move to a new location. It's clear that the chef has perfected their recipe, and the quality of the food hasn't been compromised.
However, the service didn't quite match the quality of the food. Our waiter seemed unwelcoming and didn't even crack a smile throughout our meal. It's a shame, because a warm and friendly service can elevate the dining experience.
But back to the food - the Fried Rice and Banana Loco were absolute standouts, and paired perfectly with the lamb. The combination was a match made in heaven, and I couldn't get enough of it. The portions were also gigantic, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a filling meal.
The only downside is that the restaurant still operates on a cash-only basis. In this digital age, it's surprising that they haven't updated their payment system to accommodate online payments or credit cards. It would be great if they could simplify their payment process to make it more convenient for customers.
Despite the service issues and payment limitations, I would still highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food. The lamb, Fried Rice, and Banana Loco are must-try dishes, and the giant portions are definitely worth the price. With a bit of tweaking to their service and payment system, this restaurant could be truly exceptional.

Too bad that the very first place is very limited. It only opens for a short hour and we needs to give them a call for visiting.
It was then one day we discovered that this branch is opened. We have been a regular visitor and knows the owner quite well.
This has always been our definition of a great Africans lamb satay. We've tried a couple place but none tasted this good. It's a pitty they didn't have their personal signature chilly anymore, which comprised of red chilly, mayonnaise and mustard.
The only drawback of this place is that you can only...
Read moreThis is the official branch of the Sate Afrika H. Coulibaly in Tanah Abang yet somehow they're very different. We ran out of Banana here when their Banana is the most famous carbo menu. The chili which combines red chili and mustard are pre-made and doesn't allow any customization by adjusting your preferred level of mustard! Blasphemy! Tanah Abang was famous for their mustard chili and fried banana yet this branch doesn't serve that.
On the other hand this place is considerably cheaper than the one in Tanah abang, have easier access, opens on sunday, and the meat cut is BIGGER! So choose...
