Read moreBest Bak Kut Teh in town, super fragrant broth and they let you customize what you want in your pot. They will confirm with you when you put down the order, you can either choose all ribs, all organs, or mix and match between ribs and organs. Would recommend their minced pork for the Bak Kut Teh and you tiau (cakwe) to dip in the broth.
Another star is their guo tie (fried pork and cabbage dumplings), good size, good crunch, juicy fillings. I prefer this over sui jiao (boiled dumplings) though this is a matter of taste.
I loved their oyster omelette too, it was served on a hotplate and came sizzling hot. Oysters were fresh and I could control the doneness, and the entire dish was well-seasoned.
For a better experience, I'd recommend coming here knowing how to speak Indonesian or bring a friend who can, as the servers do not speak English nor Mandarin. Place is quaint but clean, generous portions, all in all a meal here is...

The price also has been up quite a lot since years ago, I recall my usual order 1 bakuteh, 2 bowl of rice, and hot tea cost around 50k, now 1 bakuteh cost 85k. But it is fair due to inflation, the hike in pork meat recently.. and the portion of bakuteh is bigger now.
So it still very much...
