The Pallas — Restaurant in Jakarta

One word: SHADY. We got to this place because we were desperate for a place to hang out as we were a large group of 10 and it was on Saturday night. It was impromptu but they still got us a nice couch so initially we thought 'uhm okay lets do it'. Before buying drinks, we had asked 2 different waiters if it was okay for our friend to come over with short pants. They said OK given that he/she wears a shoe. So we ordered some drinks, had some fun UNTIL my friend came over with short pants + shoe (as instructed by the waiters). They didn't allow my friend to come in with no explanation whatsoever. Asked where the rule is or whether it was written somewhere but they just referred me to one another and the manager was SO not helpful and responsible. He would not take any responsibility of what his staff had said. I mean, he was paid to manage the guys there but they just seemed so unmanaged/unprofessional. They just wanted our money, luring us in with so many promises and in the end, nothing was done. Needless to say, i won't be coming back to this place ever. This place is lousy, music was bad, and we barely had a chance to talk as it was freaking loud. With this rate of service, im pretty sure they will be out of business in no time. I mean, the fact that they have many empty seats on a Saturday night surely says something ;) Do yourself a favor and don't go to this...

The place still has thick vibe of potato head, the door, the interior, and bar. But give it is quite a permanent feature, can't really blame it. The food is surprisingly good. I didn't remember the name of the food, but the ribs soup taste good, the broth well packed with spices. The sweet spicy prawn also tasty, the prawns are fresh and well cleaned. The price tag translated well into the foods. I also like how the speaker are not too loud it is still easy for us to have a conversation. However, I found the service is a bit arrogant and not really solving the problem. I was there as a guest of my friend while she welcome me to sit on the bar but the staff insist that we cannot seat there. When I asked the alternative where can I sit, the staff still insist that I just cannot sit there but didn't provide me with the available seat until I finally join table with my friend instead. I didn't think this is the service you have on mind when you spent at...

Good venue for concerts and events. Open table costs 8mio for high chairs in the middle of dance floor (in front of stage) and 16mio for sofas - in the sideways.

The toilets are nice and quite clean when i was there, but the alley to the toilets are narrow, ppl have difficulties to reach the toilet.

Only 1 toilet place available (with many toilets inside) so when you're on the side of stage that is far from toilets, you will find difficulties to reach the toilet! LoL

Parking lots for motorcycles are not available here so need to park in surrounding office buildings and then walk around 5 minutes to this place. Maybe better to ride taxis or online ojek to reach...
