It's quite rare that you can have three of these qualities checked when visiting restaurants placed in high altitude : ambience that creates great mood, exceptional food taste, and reasonable price that fits all the experience.

I came here to celebrate my Wife’s birthday, and had to take risk since my Wife doesn’t do Sushi regularly, and is a picky eater for seafood.

We ordered the Soft Shell Crab Roll and to our surprises the Sushi here can really be considered the best in Town (it’s all thanks to Morimoto-san’s recipe). The flavorful taste of the fresh Soft Shell Crab mixing with other sea ingredients felt really exploded in our mouth. Had to call it my luck but kudos to Morimoto’s crews, there was no complain at all and only compliments for the seafood from my Wife.

We also ordered the Wagyu Sukiyaki and we have no complain whatsoever. You can really taste the flavorful and sweet broth mixing with the softness of the Wagyu beef slices. It was unlike any other sub-par Sukiyaki that other restaurants have, Morimoto’s Sukiyaki just really delivers.

The ambience in the room is just too perfect for My Wife’s special day. If you are on a date night, don’t hesitate to reserve a table besides the window specifically just in front of the moody blue lights being emitted from other skyline’s buildings. Without any doubt you can take pretty good photographs here.

Our Server, Mas Yudis, was also very helpful by showing us the presentation pictures of the foods available in the menu along with prudent explanation that goes along with customer’s taste preferences. The birthday surprise went quite smooth thanks to all the friendly crews involved in it.

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Morimoto Jakarta! The food was absolutely delicious – the oysters were incredible, and the wagyu literally melted in my mouth. Every dish was perfectly prepared and presented with so much attention to detail.

What really made the evening even more special was the service. The staff was not only professional, but also genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. Our waiter Yudis was amazing – he made sure we had everything we needed, answered all our questions, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Thanks to him (and the whole team, including the kitchen), our night was truly perfect.
