Toraja COFFEE HOUSE — Restaurant in Jakarta

first: This coffee house follows the Covid-19 protocol standard. I like this coffee shop that looks warm with a simple and traditional concept as well as at Toraja of South Sulawesi. Toraja Coffee House was always targeted by several good photo spots around South of Jakarta. Baristas make brewing techniques with specialty coffee and affordable prices too. Good coffee, good services, comfortable place both indoors and outdoors. Not only their coffee are good, but their foods. Thumbs Up! Toraja Coffee House also provides a large enough car park for the South Jakarta area. I tried their simple menus yet delicious and worth it. Cheese Burger (served with french fries and salad), it really tasty, especially the mashed potato paste. Hot Latte, definitely know what Latte is! ... the coffee tastes really good, and sleepiness really goes away👍😋😁😄

Unlike most cafes which serves good drinks but lacks satisfying meal with affordable price, Toraja Coffee has both. The food here is sort of a blend of local delicacy with Western cooking. My favorite is their Gluten Rice--flavory buttered rice with mozarella, beef bacon, and egg. Their smoked beef (sei sapi) is also fantastic. Their foods have a large portion, letting you feel satiated for the whole evening.

As for the place itself, it's super cozy. Couch is comfortable. AC is just right--breezy but not cold if you sit here for too long. Wi-Fi is stable. There is an outdoor space with live music every Friday. They open from very early morning (7 AM) to very late at night (11 PM/00 AM). It's rarely crowded, making this the perfect place to work.

Sebelumnya sering liat karena lewat saat mau ke mall kokas dan ngeh ada cafe saat test antigen di sebelah.

Iseng milih tempat cod jualan amplug, keinget kesini karena males parkir motor di kokas. Sambil nunggu, coba pesen kopi v60 beans rodo-rodo dan kwetiau siram sei sapi (sebagai penggemar kwetiau dan sei sapi, lihat ini di buku menu langsung tertarik).

Surprisingly, enak. Karena sebelumnya agak underestimate dan berpikir ini kafe yg jual tempat buat nongkrong aja. Untuk kopinya, terasa fresh tapi ya oke aja. Ntah dari beans atau apanya, karena saya juga belum tau taste dari bean rodo-rodo

Yang ingin saya highlight adalah kwetiaunya. Enak, sambel sei nya segar dan pas, tekstur kwetiaunya oke(agak lembek, tapi oke), daging sei nya manteb(bagian pinggir di beberapa irisian daging sei nya crispy jadi menambah oke untuk tekstur hidangan keseluruhan), porsi tidak sedikit. Good job untuk kwetiau nya hhe.

Secara tempat, lega. Tidak seperti beberapa tempat lain yg dibuat padat. Disini space antar meja lega, kursi dan meja tidak kecil-kecil. Untuk pemandangan, ya tidak istimewa, dibawah fly over dan seberang TPU 😄. Tapi kalau malem kayaknya oke sih.

Secara harga, hmmm jujur saja tidak masuk ke kategori murah meriah hhe. Tapi saya pribadi merasa worth it. Cocok buat nongkrong. Pantes sih suka liat malam minggu rame.
