i want to share about seasonal taste all you can eat @ the westin hotel...I will give an honest honest review:
THE POSITIVE
The view from the restaurant is good, you can see the city of Jakarta full of colors at night.
the waiters are all friendly, both the hotel security and the hotel employees and the restaurant waiters.
the layout of the restaurant is good
The dishes that are served are dishes from various countries
THE NEGATIVE :
you spend money to eat all u can eat in Jakarta above 350,000 IDR per person, you should be able and hope to get food with rich of tastes
all the dishes have almost no taste !, you can even say bland !... less courageous in giving seasonings !
Especially the American cuisine, from the eyes, the meat that is served is all delicious, but I'm sorry, it doesn't taste at all.
the only good thing is the Japanese dishes, such as dim sum, dumplings, chicken claws, bakpau, only in that part of Asian cuisine that is rich in taste, but unfortunately I pay to enjoy all the dishes from various countries, not only Asian cuisine, so it is very, very expensive if we only eat asian food only !
the seats are also not comfortable to lean on, because they only support a little of our backs, of course with prices above 350,000 idr per person, what do you expect is more than that !
if the taste of the food is still like this, bland, and there is no taste at all, only the asian food is rich in taste (dim sum, chicken feet, dumplings, buns) in Jakarta there are many cheap all u can eat restaurants for under 200,000 IDR per person but with a much better taste and a much...
Read moreAmazing food! This restaurant offers over 5 cuisines. Indian, Indonesian, Thai, Japanese & Italian. All the cuisines felt authentic to it's taste and since i am an Indian, i can proudly say that the indian food made me feel as if i were in India. The Japanese food was delicious. For you sushi lovers, this place is also perfect as they had all the types of sushis with salmon and tuna. They even served sashimi, just imagine the thought of having unlimited sashimi! Now let's fly to Italy, the Italian food was amazing as you can choose your own pasta and your own sauce and get it made just the way you like. They also had amazing roasted lobsters and beef! I ate the lobsters but not the beef since i am Indian so i can't tell you how the beef tastes. The Thai food was amazing as they had served some special Thai chicken that had a sweet, tangy taste. For you sweet tooths, the desert was amazing too. They had 2 types of martabak, one pandan martabak with cheese and condensed milk and one chocolate martabak with chocolate outside and inside. They had many types kf ice cream also, hazelnut was my favourite as it tasted like Nutella. They also had pancake which i honestly didn't try, but pancake is pancake. I tried the lava cake which was not up to the mark as the chocolate had become cold which made the cake hard instead of a melted, soft chocolate cake. So in conclusion, this restaurant is DEFINITELY WORTH your money and is on my must visit list. If you tried this restaurant because of my review, please comment down below & leave a...
Read moreOn a Sunday dinner I have been there with my family. I have also been there for lunch buffet and high tea....where to start from- welcoming vibes and staff greets you at Westin. Ambience awesome...and the restaurant is on 18th floor, so the view of Weh traffic can be enjoyed.
Lovely spread, but again I miss starters as in 5 star buffet one hardly finds many starters. We have ordered A-la-carte...we ordered nacho fully loaded with veggies N sour cream...very tasty.
The staff Sandeep, who was serving us was very polite N told my son to taste their chaat section from buffet...all there Pani Puri, Sev and ragda was very nice.
We ordered matar ke shqmmi, melt in mouth, superb taste and in main course we had Thai curry N rice...lovely taste and aroma, one of the best Thai curry I have ever had...
