Yoogane — Restaurant in Jakarta

Yoogane is actually one of the famous Korean chicken galbi (grilled dish) brands in Korea.

Yoogane’s signture dish is their marinated dak galbi which came in a huge pan filled with tender chicken meat marinated in their secret spicy sauce, along with some rice cakes and fresh vegetables. Equally popular was the marinated dak galbi fried rice that combined two of my favorites – fried rice and marinated chicken! Two in one dish, double the taste!

The chicken was perfectly marinated to pick up the sweet-spicy flavor. To be honest, the level of spiciness was less than moderate – it was more sweet than spicy actually. It’s hard to go wrong with the combination of rice, seaweed and cheese. Overall, I loved the food, but it was not the most amazing and unique meal we had in Seoul. I felt that I could easily replicate the dish at home. First time nih nyoba makan di @yoogane.lotte & langsung jatuh cinta sama makanannya. I'm not a big fan of Korean food, and to be honest I prefer Japanese food. Tapi yg satu ini pengecualian banget, soalnya rasanya cocok banget sama lidah gue. Gue penggila makanan pedes, dan udah beberapa kali di PHP-in sama embel2 "spicy" di beberapa resto korea yg pernah gue coba, dan pedesnya gak pernah "serius". Tapi di Yoogane ini beda banget. Kalo di menu ada tulisan spicy, itu beneran spicy (literally!). . . Pic 1: Extra spicy marinated chicken galbi. (IDR 88k) Ini porsinya gede ya, ada keterangannya "2 pax" jd bisa share untuk 2 orang. Isinya potongan ayam yg udah dibumbuin pedas, sayuran (kol, rebung, daun bawang) sama toppoki. Dan sebelahnya itu additional topping, kita pilih nasi goreng (IDR 15k). Pilihan toppingnya macem2, ada nasi putih, nasi goreng, udon, toppoki, sama mozzarella cheese. Disajikannya di hot plate. Ini enak banget pedesnya nampol dan bumbunya juga meresap banget. . . Porsinya juga lumayan, krn isinya mie samyang sama chicken galbi + sayuran. Inipun enak bgt. Cocok jg sama lidah gue. 👍 . . Pic 3: Kimchi Ini the best kimchi I've ever tried! Baru kali ini gue doyan kimchi, sampe nambah 2x. Hehehehe. Gak bau, asemnya gak lebay, pedesnya juga pas, gak bikin 'nyureng' di idung. (duh nyureng iki opooo 😂 semacam nyengat lha pokoknya). Ini free ya, bebas nambah. 👌 . Sebenernya ada 1 menu lagi buat anak gue (2 thn), Beef Bulgogi Fried Rice (IDR 55k), ini nasi goreng putih pakek beef bulgogi, gak pedes sm sekali dan gurih. Tp gak kefoto gara2 my son was cranky 😅. Ini jg parah enaknya. Anak gue doyan banget, sampe abis makannya. .

Overall, gue pasti bakal balik lg nyoba menu yg lain. Harganya jg reasonable bgt. Dan yg paling penting ini...

First time on a Korean restaurant. Visited this restaurant with other four friends, and we ordered 2 dishes including the chicken fondue and ramen (the portion was actually not fit for 5 people, maybe like just 2 people).
