Apik Warung — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

To be honest I’m quite disappointed with his behavior. We rent snorkel gear and had dinner at his warung on the first time and everything went well.

He also behaved polite and nicely. Until he offered if me and my partner wanted to watch sunset, fishing and feed dolphin by the boat. He was little bit insisted us to get dinner afterwards. We were agree for that. Turns out no dolphin at all. He should’ve mentioned seeing dolphin is possible but might be rare from the very beginning instead of saying it very certain. Then, we wanted to cancel the dinner because my partner doesn’t feel good. Suddenly he chased us to our place and said the dinner is already been cooking and asked for the money. We paid and said to him clearly to deliver to our place but didn’t show up. Not even deliver the food. The name card he gave to us is a fake. We waited for 30 minutes and he didn’t show up. We had a good lunch here at the restaurant, but I'd actually like to highlight the extraordinary problem solving attitude of the owner. We were looking for hiring an affordable dive camera. Despite not being his core business, the owner found us a solution further in town. Also organizes boat and drive tours. We were driven to the airport by his cousin Roy, whom we absolutely recommend. Don't be played by the empty look of the warung, it's low season so not so many tourists around here ,but the food is delicious and comes at a fair price. You must try the fresh catch of the day, it was delicious !

I ordered grilled fish with rice , vegetables with a sauce made of garlic and shallots . Looks simple but amazing! The fish was still very juicy and tender inside ,and tastes like braised on coconut wood . no fishbones ~
