We found this little restaurant on Google Maps while visiting Jimbaran and walked straight from the beach.
We ordered a serving of mie goreng, wok beef, and satay chicken skewers with rice. The mie goreng and satay chicken were the best we had during our 2-week trip in Bali. Loved the homemade peanut butter sauce on the satay chicken. The wok beef was also delicious, but the “normal” spicy level was incredibly hot—even for someone who eats spicy food every day as an Asian.
We did wait a bit for the food, as everything is made to order, but you can smell the amazing aromas as they cook it fresh.
One of the best parts is that they don’t charge the heavy tax and service fees you usually find in other tourist restaurants in Bali. Just remember to bring cash for payment. We spent 130k IDR for all three dishes, which is incredibly affordable—back in Melbourne, AUS, you can’t even order a single noodle soup for that price!
The place also has a cute cat and a little dog. It’s a small, family-run business, and the people were incredibly friendly. We’d love to come back and visit these lovely people again the next time we’re in Bali.

Read moreThis is a family run warung just a short walk from the beach. Like many places, only three tables are available .
They offer a good variety of sea food, but typical local dishes and even spaghetti as well. The grilled clams with homemade balinese sauce are amazing. If you don't like it too hot, just tell them 'tidak pedas' - not spicy :)
It seems like all family members help out. Our kids liked the place and were entertained by all family members from the moment we entered.
You might have a hard time ordering only in English, so make sure to use Google translate or something similar to communicate.
Overall a great and cozy place with heartwarming people to get good food. Better bring your money here instead of to any overpriced beach hotel. We will come...
Read moreA nice little hidden gem in Kedonganan. The ribs are nice and the taste was not overpowered. Comes in 150 grams and 250 grams. Nice thick ribs, comes with fries that are fried nicely and not oily, not even limp and that's important for my fries. With a little side of coleslaw. The curry is nice too, comes with rice. The most important is they clean their prawns properly. They still taste juice and plump in the curry, not a hint of fishy taste at all! Would definitely come again the next time we're around. The owners are super friendly too which is super important 😊 They have large bintang and Singaraja and also small bottles. They do serve fresh fruit...
