We embarked on our third journey to Bali, a place we've grown to adore for its hospitality and flexible dining experiences, particularly the all-day breakfasts that seem to be a hallmark of Balinese cafes and restaurants. However, our latest visit to Natys Coffee left us deeply disappointed and frankly quite perplexed.
After enduring the long haul from the other side of the globe, my party and I found ourselves grappling with the inevitable jet lag that accompanies such travels. In an attempt to find some solace in a familiar breakfast, we took a 30-minute taxi ride through Bali's bustling streets, all while looking forward to the comforting start of the day we had envisioned.
Our anticipation was met with a stark refusal to serve breakfast past 11 o'clock. This policy not only stands in stark contrast to nearly every other dining experience we've had in Bali but also seems out of touch with the needs of international travelers who might not be operating on local time.
I urge the management team at Natys Coffee to reconsider this rigid policy. Bali is celebrated for its welcoming spirit and adaptability, qualities that your current breakfast policy does not reflect. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly marred our view of your establishment, leading us to decide that we will not be returning.
To the management of Natys Coffee, please see this not just as a complaint, but as a call to align more closely with the hospitality standards that make Bali such a beloved destination for travelers around the world. This isn't just about missing out on breakfast; it's about feeling welcomed...
Read moreI chose a cafe based on google ratings and reviews, invited friends to dinner at your cafe. as a result, we were all disappointed with your cafe and will not return here anymore. 1. How can you cook tom yam without coconut milk? why do you put shrimp with the head in that pit, for volume? and why do you put shrimp heads without a body and meat? horror. they brought me a tom yam without rice and lime, the waiter did not warn me that rice was not included in the dish, but most importantly, he did not offer me to order it additionally. 2. The chicken leg was so spicy that a lover of spicy could not eat it. 3. The prices in the cafe do not match the quality of the dishes. 4. why don't you hide the tax and service in the price of the dish, you mislead the potential buyer when he sees the price on the menu significantly less, because the margin is 21%. 5. Pizza was brought to the child with a black burnt crust. 6. Why do you serve crispy snacks with all dishes? 7. The photos of the full menu contain the old menu from 4 months ago. Now the prices of some food are 30% higher. And if you take into account the tax and service, then using google maps you choose an institution, you arrive and the price is 60% higher than expected. The cafe does not have its own toilet, you will have to go to the store next door. the cafe has inflated reviews, a lot of reviews from people without a photo with a rating of 5, who have not left a review anywhere else. That says...
Read moreThere really isn't much to say, we've been travelling all over Bali for the last two weeks and this is easily the worst meal of the trip.
Chicken satay cold and a spoonful of sauce, asked for extra sauce, came cold. I mean seriously, I grilled chicken dish with a peanut sauce, both components come out cold. Had to ask for extra sauce, this time it was two spoonfuls.
Black pepper chicken, this is a dish I have come to love in Bali, the sauce was very good, the chicken was a deep fried chicken breast, that's a new one on me.
French fries, they came out ice cold, not cold as in been sitting around for an hour cold, I mean cooked, then sitting in a fridge cold. These were brought to us and then I had to flag down a member of staff who also had a totally confused look. Anyways, a few minutes later the same fries were back if you are going to just refry the fries, don't refry the ones with the garnish, it makes it obvious what was done and it leaves a bitter taste.
Honestly, I wanted to like this place, but with so many good restaurants in town, save your time and money.
As I sit here, we finished our food 15 minutes ago and we are being ignored, same for the group of six sitting...
