Warung Bambu — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I'm not much into bad evaluations, I always think that it could had been just a bad day, but in this case, expectations were high.

Positive points first, the place is right on the beach, the staf is very nice and the place is quite beautiful.

The food, average at the most. We order a pizza and, neglecting the fact that we got a different one (ordered four cheese and got one with artichoke), the taste was nothing special and the dough probably one of the hardest that I've tried here.

We also ordered a burger that supposed to be spicy with bacon and jalapenos. None of them were actually part of the dish.

If it would've been a cheaper place, probably I would've give them another star, but for the price (one of the most expensive we have been in the area so far), you expect really good dishes.

A wonderful beachside gem! We had a fantastic experience at Warung Bamboo in Nusa Dua. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a laid-back holiday by the sea.

A special thanks goes to Ayu — who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She provided us with lots of useful information and made us feel truly welcome every time we visited.

One of our favorite highlights is the iced coffee in the morning — absolutely delicious and highly recommended! We also enjoyed lunch several times: the pizza, pasta, and salads were all very tasty and freshly prepared.

I'm going to give five stars only because I am comparing it to everything else I tried around it. The price, the quality of the seafood and the setting was all great. The shisha was the cheapest of any beachfront hotel bar I saw or visited. It was fairly smooth and well prepared, but the staff could be trained on tending the pipes. The service was ok, but the food was all served hot and fresh. Pizza was a bit of a let down.

I was not staying at the attached hotel, rather the Conrad next door, but still came back here twice...
