VERY overpriced, average taste smoothie bowls. We ordered tropical sunrise and mandalika as they said its their best seller, although the prices are different, they taste EXACTLY THE SAME, also they look THE SAME, only difference is one had orange slice and other have peanut butter. Tropical sunrise doesn’t have kiwi even though in the menu its the first item they say they have it… they just blend the all the fruits which will taste bland, more like a mixed smoothie.. it really doesnt worth 100k, it only look good on the picture but taste was meh, I don’t know how did they have this much high reviews.
Edit: Amazing customer support! they saw my review very quick and manager of the cafe come back to me with the refund ticket(I still leave a tip tho because I can’t accept the free smoothie bowl😊) because we weren’t happy with the smoothie bowl and explained us why the smoothie taste like that and they trying to improve everyday. I’m amazed by how well they get the constructive feedback and saw that they are trying to improve, giving really high value to customer satisfaction so thats why I’m increasing my rating here. Thank you so much for the kind gesture and amazing...
Read moreA cafe with a great setting and good service but some really unforgettable food.
I ate here with a group of 4 that has all been in Asia or Bali for at least 6 months and we all agreed this was some of the most disappointing western cafe food we have all had.
Our biggest issue was with the smoothie bowl. They make their smoothie bowls without ice or without frozen fruit…. So it’s just warm mushed fruit? Like baby food? I spoke with the staff and they were totally nice and accommodating and explained that it was on purpose and that’s their recipe? They remade it with ice but I have to note that nowhere in the world makes a smoothie or smoothie bowl warm, that’s just bizarre. It’s a soupy mess of mush fruit.
We also had other food like the burger and eggs on toast and didn’t enjoy those either. My friends toast for her eggs was literally raw, like underdone raw dough. The pink bun for the burger was this mushy super sweet weird thing.
If you’re paying 100k idr plus for food in Indo it better be the best food in town and this is not.
Once again, staff was great, and very accommodating but still doesn’t change the fact that the food...
Read moreEDITED 13.02.2024 Had breakfast here this morning and felt a little underwhelmed. I was recommended this place by a friend and was hoping for the same experience. The place looks absolutely amazing, by far the most aesthetically pleasing cafe on the east side of the island. I ordered the avo on toast and a coconut. I was excited when the dish came out but when I started eating the mushrooms and tomatoes were extremely salty. I have a feeling that it must have been a little slip up since everyone looked very pleased with their dishes. Service was good. However the menu that is listed online on Google is an old one with old pricing. The menu in-store is more expensive. Might come again to retry!
Came back to try the tropical smoothie bowl and this time the food was nice. The service was way better in the early morning in comparison to brunch/lunch time. I'm leaving the 3 stars as it is because I do believe this place is highly overpriced. The coconuts they serve the bowls in also look like they've been opened a while, and might be reused. It's a nice place, definitely beautiful but I do find it overrated....
