By all means AVOID STAYING AT THIS PLACE! My worst experience ever. The place has nothing to do with the pictures.

I was super tired went I arrived on the island and looked for accommodation close to the harbour. Saw they have kinda of good rating and 3 stars (not sure how they got them) so expected to be okish. I asked to see the rooms but the guy avoided and said After registering. He showed me a premier room (number 22). I saw it was not clean and the guy pretended he didn’t see all the dust. Towels and Bed sheets with stains and doors that don’t close properly and when they do they have gaps (insects and mosquitoes party!). Super dirty and super old (maybe 50years ago it was a boutique hotel but never maintained after that). Then he asked someone to clean but to my surprise they didn’t change the bedsheets. When I went in the room and saw that, it was late at night and thought to let it go and sleep (didn’t know what could happen to me). I woke up with a several bedbug bites on my arm and had no idea what it was. After I consulted my doctor and I was sure it was because of them, I went back to tell them they need to spray the room and also asked for compensation. It was a ridiculous conversation where they didn’t say once they are sorry or seemed surprised. They were even playing victims even trying to blame me that somehow it’s my fault and I shouldn’t have stayed at all there. I told him you cleaned and assured me there are no problems in the room, if you know you have bedbugs you shouldn’t rent out this room until you sort it out. During the conversation they kind of admitted it’s their fault but refused to compensate me as they need to cover the costs for cleaning! The manager also said that they were full that night and they did me a favour! Also another lie as the night before the guy at the reception told me they had several rooms but the best was number 22 Premier room (imagine the rest, especially the standard rooms!). At the end they offensively offered 5euro refund and I walked away. That place doesn’t worth your time or money, better stay at a hostel. It’s super overpriced (paid 33 euros, after bargaining and before I saw the room, to be bitten by bedbugs and sleep on stained sheets, really?). Also breakfast Is seriously disgusting, the bikes are all broken (they were all standing there and he said they are all rent it out, but next day another employee told me they are all broken), pool only decorative (not that I would swim after what happened even if it was not under construction). On the good side, one girl at the reception that I met in the morning was super sweet and professional (in this awful environment)... Please avoid. Saving some euros doesn’t worth ruining your holidays. There are some really nice places in the island. Leave your bags somewhere and go around and look yourself before you book (the island is pretty small -didn’t know how small otherwise I would have walked a bit).

The hotel is location one block from ocean. (5minute walk to pier). Gili at is a noisy island with parties going until the early hours of the morning. We couldn’t hear any of it from the hotel however every morning at 4am the mosque their service for an hour (or longer) which is VERY loud and makes it hard to sleep through the night. The hotel does provide ear plugs for this which is nice. The rooms NEVER got cleaned. Towels were not replaced and bed sheets changed. The bar has a decent happy hour but the drinks are not strong at all. Often tasting like non alcoholic drinks. Wifi is not very good. Unless it’s very late. No hairdryers or anything extra like this. Only toothbrush and toothpaste. (Which we’re not replaced) we ended up buying our own toothpaste. The hotel staff are VERY friendly though. Which was lovely. The hotel offers tours and trips etc for a decent price as well as speedy laundry service. The meals are pretty decent , the included breakfast is not amazing but it’s okay. If you’re only here for a day or 2 then it’s really not...

Location is good, thats why i chose this hotel. Its not on the main street. But Im solo guy so this is best for me. Near to jetty and near to one and only night market and main night life area and all cafes. Hotel offers bikes rental and day trips with reasonable price. Its good enough for solo or couple who would go for diving for few days on the island. If u r in gili for more than 2 days, I’d suggest u go north to explore better hotels and different experiences on the island or meno or air would be for you. Very near to the beach for sun rise as well. Bfast is superb and other meals as well. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Pool is normal but they managed to use for the available space for it. Close to local mosque but they do provide some kinda ear plugs for that. But its just few mins during the day. Highly recommended. You cant expect very good hotels on the island with less crowded crowd and this is good enough for few days esp when its close to the...
