Japanese restaurant Biraku — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Staffs are nice and friendly, food was too salty. As you can see from picture, Sashimi was already way too much mixed with soy sauce, but I also have extra soy sauce for that.. It was very smaller than what I expect, so not much rice under Sashimi I couldn’t finish it.

Anyway I just want to pay and leave ,nice staff ask me how was your food and I just say its too salty. She was apologize to me and said gonna talk to Chef now please wait a moment. After that I was waiting there for 8-10mins and she told me Chef say “Sashimi taste just like that” It makes me mad directly. Very disappointed to his attitude at this point, it just totally ignored what I said.

So they wanna gave me some complimentary thing, its also surprised me cause they didn’t charge 30,000rp for water . Well, I don’t even know it costs that much. Wanna give 1star but staffs are nice so gave one...

tonight I visited Biraku, my first Japanese food, I entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was very beautiful, very characteristic of Japan, very comfortable to be in and I tried to order the most delicious food in the restaurant. I ordered chicken teriyaki, ebi fried roll, and various kinds of nigiri. The service was very nice and polite, a waiter like that I don't find in other restaurants and I really appreciate that. After a few minutes, I was surprised when the food I ordered was ready really quickly and coincidentally at that time I was very hungry, very suitable for hungry people. I tried the food. Starting with the service, it was ok, not good not bad. In Indonesia the service is always very good. Keep in mind that this restaurant doesn’t have that standard of Indonesian courtesy. Going into the food. I ordered a chicken burguer. Chicken was not really good and same goes to the sauce. Could be just me. The fries were really good. Both of my other friends had sushi, and only the salmon sushis were good. All the other sushi was mediocre and the tuna ones were bad, inclusive two of them smelling bad, made with canned tuna and mayonnaise.

In conclusion me and my friends came here thinking it was a bit more pricy place but really good because of the reviews. Turns out it is a really nice place with a super nice atmosphere but expensive and not really attractive food...
