We were unfortunately recommended here by our hotel for our 10 year anniversary dinner, which turned out to be a huge disappointment. Restaurant was completely empty at 7pm which should have been a big red flag. Ordered a bottle of rosé wine that we like ($450,000Rp) and our starter and entrees ($560,000Rp) shortly after arriving. About 10 minutes later, a different server came with a bucket of ice and a bottle of wine but said it wasn’t cold due to their chiller being broken but said he could put it in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes for us? We asked him to just leave it in the ice bucket with us as our food should be arriving soon and we would more than likely be done dinner in 30 minutes. He then said he would put it in the fridge for only 15 minutes. So we ordered a beer and cider ($120,000Rp) while waiting for the wine to chill. The food arrived along with the wine but unfortunately they had chilled the wrong bottle of wine. We decided to just have the incorrect wine that was already chilled but we should have just cancelled it!! Terrible wine (Plaga Rosé). The food was ok but not worth the price. Tenderloin was definitely not a real tenderloin but cooked to preference and edible. For the final bill, a 11% tax was added as well as a 10% service charge which is fine as we always leave at least that for gratuity anyways. In the end we spent $1,366,300Rp which we would much rather have spent...

Beautiful location.
We book new years dinner here and was really looking forward to it. Menu looked very inviting and ambitious with lobster and Beef Wellington. And at a price tag of 1200000 rp ($120 aud) per person expectations was high.
I order lobster pasta, which was missing lobster entirely, and was mediocre if I’m being really generous. Follow by a “beef Wellington” attempt in soggy puff pastrie absent of key elements like cured ham, crepe etc. beef was most likely not filet either. Tough as anything and completely well done. Desert was another attempt of being ambitious with crème brûlée, “soufflé” and chocolate mouse. No crispy top on crème brûlée, soufflé was not soufflé at all but some sort of passion fruit medley. Chocolate mousse was probably the highlight.
If I had this in a pub in Australia and paid $60 for it I would probably not come back. But charging $120 + 21% sur charge for this was an absolute disaster.
On top of this staff couldn’t comprehend orders and twice of the servings they forgot at least 1 persons meal. I mean there were probably 4 other tables beside from us and we were 5 people dining. They’re 8-10 waiters, so should be manageable.
Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend KO KO...
Read moreKo Ko Mo Restaurant is an absolute gem, located away from the hustle and bustle of the docks, offering a tranquil, beachfront dining experience. The setting is perfect—tables set right on the sand, with stunning ocean views, and the décor is beautifully done, featuring elegant ambient lighting that adds a touch of magic to the evening.
We dined here three times during our stay, and each meal was a delight. The food is simply outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The pesto spaghetti was hands down the best we’ve ever had—perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, fresh pesto sauce that made every bite unforgettable. As for dessert, the chocolate mousse was a dream—light, creamy, and incredibly delicious.
What truly sets Ko Ko Mo apart, though, is the service. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring you have everything you need. On our last evening, we were surprised with a complimentary fruit platter from the manager, Komang, as a thoughtful gesture to end our meal. This kind of attention to detail and hospitality made our experience even more special.
We highly recommend Ko Ko Mo Restaurant and can’t wait to return on...
