A few in our group got the chicken burger and had a very hard time getting through it as it was extremely dry and chewy. It was very stringy as well as being tough— so much so that I had to spit it out at certain points for fear of choking on it— which makes me think it was frozen and then reheated rapidly. It was an almost €20 burger so I would have expected it to be much tastier. I was shocked at how poor the quality was given this restaurant has good reviews and my past experience here wasn’t bad. Everyone else at our table didn’t like their food either, saying it was very bland and flavourless. While our waiters were very nice and accommodating, the manager (I’m assuming he was the manager) who sat us seemed quite grumpy and impatient, which gave us a bad first impression. The atmosphere was nice, it’s just a shame about the food. I left feeling hungry and ripped off. I do not think the price is justified by the food. If you want a better chicken burger, I’d recommend sticking to your local chipper. Perhaps this was just an off night for the place, but I certainly won’t be returning...
