I placed an order with Mizzoni on October 28th. I paid almost 40e on food but never received it.
After ordering, I received an email confirming my order was in the kitchen at 02.23am and the funds were taken from my account.
As the night went on, the arrival time got pushed back and back and back without any sign of my food. I was coming from a long shift and could not stay up all night waiting for an order that may or may not turn up. The next morning, the app informed me that the order was apparently delivered at 05.22am (THREE HOURS later!).
I opened the door expecting to find cold pizza (better late than never) but the food was never actually dropped off as confirmed by our cameras.
I have tried to resolve the issue by ringing Mizzoni and using Deliveroo's online assistance but to no avail. I was informed that Mizzoni use their own delivery drivers rather than a Deliveroo rider so there is zero accountability. I have also sent multiple polite emails to Mizzoni but these have been ignored. Essentially, I am nearly 40e out of pocket for food that I ordered and paid for but never received. It's unacceptable.
Everybody makes mistakes and this could easily have been resolved. I waited 10 days before leaving a negative review because I didn't want to drag a small, local business through the mud but they've left me no choice. The way this was handled was a disgrace. I can see from other reviews that I'm not the first customer to experience the same thing and it's important to warn others before they order. Ultimately, I've told friends, family and work colleagues about my experience and none of them will be ordering from Mizzoni any time soon. They've lost a lot of loyal customers there for the sake of 40e. I hope it...

It's alright, but honestly as someone who goes to Italy regularly I expected a lot better for the price from a restaurant that says it can do authentic Italian. Pasta was slightly undercooked beyond al-dente so despite the sauce and ingredients being fairly tasty it didn't make eating it enjoyable, I will say the portion is extremely generous and personally more enough for two people by my standards, and the only reason it's worth the price.
Price to taste wise, the microwave carbonara meals in Dunnes and Aldi are less of a budget burner despite fairly similar in quality. This is just from first and only impression and I may have gotten an unfortunate...

The person on the phone said they have a policy of not giving refunds, only replacements. Not issuing a refund is completely illegal, and they kept insisting it was policy. I waited three hours for a manager to call me back and the call never came and they kept ignoring my phone calls. The woman on the phone was extremely rude, did not apologise for the situation and hung up on me. They finally sent a delivery driver to give me the refund in cash (even though I paid with card).
