WICKLOW Blue - Cow’s Milk - $18
A mild, creamy blue brie cheese, balancing the strength of a blue cheese perfectly with the character of our own Irish milk. A deliciously creamy seductive brie cheese, with distinct blue veins causing an exciting flavour to the pallet to be enjoyed.
CORLEGGY HARD GOATS - Goat’s Milk - $18
A typical Irish Goats Cheese because the goats graze the rich pasture and eat more grass than their southern European cousins – That makes for sweeter milk and in time cheese. 8 weeks to 4 months matured depending on season weather & humidity.
MOSSFIELD GOUDA - Cow’s Milk - $18
Mossfield Organic Farmhouse Cheese is made from pasteurised cow’s milk. It’s a semi-hard cheese with a smooth, pale yellow paste. Gouda style, its flavour is creamy and sweet when young, with a more pronounced, deeper flavour when mature.
Cais Na Tire - Sheep’s Milk - $18
Cais na Tire is a hard sheep milk cheese, loosely based on the tomme cheese recipe. It is sweet with caramel like tones. It is very suitable as an alternative to Parmesan cheese but also great on a cheese board or for melting.
3 Flaggy Shore Dainties - $12
oysters ‘Bloody Mary’

I would firstly like to point out my low score for service is based on the management service and not the waiter who was fab. We attended at 5pm so restaurant was very quiet. Starters were fabulous but unfortunately we were hugely let down with the mains. 2 of us ordered medium steak and 1 had pasta. The steaks both arrived well done so we had to send them back. Thus already spoiling the meal leaving 1 person with no choice but to eat alone. Once the steaks arrived back they were still cooked as well done. We fed this back but were attending a show so didn't want to delay further by waiting again. It was at this point a manager came over to explain their 'standards' with steaks and how they're cooked in the most patronising way possible. We are all very well versed in how to cook steaks and if you think what was served was medium then you need to go back to cooking school. She was beyond rude and basically saying I'm sorry you feel this way but we're right. She offered us a drink or dessert but we had to leave for a show anyway. We had not long ordered another bottle of wine anyway. We did not want to complain and guess what we would have preferred the actual meal we had ordered to be cooked right and not spoil the experience instead so to be spoken to like that was outrageous. 1 of the steaks went back pretty much untouched and the other was partially eaten and they couldn't have cared less. To have to pay 100 euro almost for the 2 overcooked steaks is ridiculous....no discount or anything taken off the meal. Terrible...

I am a guest at the hotel, and unfortunately had a really negative experience at this restaurant.

For some reason hotel staff told us the restaurant was full but we could try our luck in person. We came downstairs to a very empty restaurant. It seems the front desk just did not want to check how full the restaurant was. We were seated next to one of two other tables in the entire restaurant. We were about 1 foot from each other, both could hear the entire conversation, and on the same eating schedule. It was awkward, and we saw another table sat totally far away from both of us. We ordered the risotto and were served ravioli. No one checked on us and we had to flag someone down to correct the food issue. No one brought the check either. We had to again flag someone down after 15-20 min. The check included the incorrect entree. We had to flag someone down for a third time. They overcharged us by 25 Euros. The check was returned to us with attitude and no apology. My partner and I were absolutely shocked.

For the amount we are paying to stay here and the awards this restaurant has supposedly won, we were absolutely appalled at the terrible service. I cannot recommend...

We had a booking on Tuesday night and enjoyed the share meal of Trout Pastrami and the Tomahawk.

I’m really sorry to advise about 2 hours after dinner we both were violently ill, first vomiting, and then throughout the night continued committing and diahorrea.

The vomiting was very intense and lasted all night for both of us, in waves/ episodes.

I have not been this sick in a very long time, and this morning, I can barely move and my stomach is still very upset, despite having nothing left in there to bring up, and my partner is the same.

The service was great, at the time, although steak undercooked to what was requested. I sent an email direct to the restaurant yesterday morning, reporting food poisoning, which I understand is reportable through the dept of health, and I’ve not received a response. I then provided feedback on the email I received from the booking, asking for feedback, and once again have not received anything back, so I’m now posting publicly, I’m bitterly disappointed it...

The food was extraordinarily awful! Scallops - I think that’s what frozen scallops from Lidl must taste like (probably that’s where they came from). What have you done to my tuna stake mate? Had it been sent back to the kitchen by another guest, popped it in the microwave and served it to me? Thank gods for Aleksandra and Maxim. The wine you recommended was fantastic and we had a lovely chat. As for the tuna, I took it with me, would you believe even my dog (whom you made me leave in the car) initially refused to eat it? Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

An exquisite place you want to return to again and again. The quality of service, presentation of dishes, serving, taste. Everything as a whole gives a feeling of importance. I want to pay tribute to the architecture of the building, both outside and inside, everything is emphasized in detail and exclusively. I also recommend trying the menu at different times of the year, as it changes every three months. Don't forget to sample the wine list, and their wonderful sommelier will help you navigate it. I wholeheartedly recommend it. 100/10

Dinner experience in the Forbes Street is something everyone needs to try. With excellent service, the manager Lee always makes us feel welcome and the food by Garreth Mullins is fantastic, full of flavors. The lamb I had was sensational. Also they have an excellent wine selection to match every meal. It’s one of those places every dish is to dye for.
