Honest To Goodness Cafe — Restaurant in Dublin

Was craving a salad and went through a quick research for places near me and was glad to find HTGC. I immediately liked the ingredients on the Peruvian Salad and went for it. I got great service at the counter and had a quick chat with the lovely barista. All the pastries and bread on display were looking fabulous. The team also suggested the special of the day for whenever I was able to try it. Flat white with oat milk was sooooo tasty! I also loved that I got to see the prepping. Something about everyone doing their “thing” just ties up the place in pure harmony to deliver a more than great final product. Generous portions, everything fresh and very well seasoned. It’s a one of a kind salad, for real. Hope to be back soon and try everything available....

Rammed every lunchtime, and with good reason; this place is one of the best quick, good-food places in the city centre. Great selection of interesting sandwiches and soups that are brilliant value. Almost cheap even! Don't let the large menu board confuse you, just read the specials and order from that – sloppy joes, lamb and spicy cheese meatballs, melted Monterey jack, pepers and roast beef, all served on your choice of home-baked bread. Decent veggie options also. But do your best to avoid the rush if you can. Can't recommend highly enough, especially if you want to dine on a budget. PLEASE start...

Not at all impressed with this place! Waited ages to be seated by an uninterested waitress! On a shabby piece of laminated paper pre-order with a black marker! Totally ignored by bored uninterested waitress for 20 minutes! Male waiter slopped a jug of water on our table while he poured glasses of water at the next table! When bored uninterested decided to wait on us we had already decided to leave! She glared at us! She didn't offer any explaination as to why we were waiting so long (wasn't even that busy) and no apology what so ever!!!! Very disappointed and would not recommend this...
