Ok so here is a great one forme to review. Found this little place on Sunday morning after two days of celebration for St Patrick Day. Stumble on this lovely looking place and this is how it went.

When we went in there were a couple of couples having breakfast and coffee and it looked good. Staff were polite, some local cheeky kids in being a pain but they soon went. We ordered one caffe latte, one decafe coffee and a beacon sandwich. I was asked how much bacon for my sandwich and Brown or white etc. Paid, not bad at 10.40 so far so good. Ok so eventually the sandwich and coffee then up. So the verdict well my wife said the latte was ok ok but put two sugars in (she always has one) I put my sugar in and also then added one more why because the coffee was so scolded it was bitter to the extend two mouthfuls and I was done. The sandwich well how you can feck up a fresh beacon sarney I have no idea. It you guessed it. The bacan was slightly under but would have been ok nice soft white bread and a cheap but ok brown sauce. The kicker it was as cold as the rainy day outside. I can only think either the bacan wasn't cooked fresh and had been prepared or they were faffing for so long it got cold. Either way it was bad. Cold food and disgusting coffee. Good job it's not a local place else I would be having to move. Some great other places in Dublin for breakfast that are off the main drag but this was one of those places where you wonder why it was so hyped when reading other reviews.

Would not recomend...

Really enjoy this cafe. It's the most reasonably priced on Francis street. Their service is quick and polite. They have a large selection of hot drinks.

They also have a very community centric notice board which I haven't seen in the other local cafes. It's a good notice board to see what's going on in the local area, from classes to gigs and even local medical clinics. Having a resource like this is very helpful.

--Updated review--

Continues to be a lovely cafe, prices haven't increased. Of the cafes on Francis street it's the only one I'd call a "Greasy Spoon", with tasty, hot, fried food wraps, sandwiches and rolls.

Seems very popular with local BIMM students.

Continues to have up to date community news and events on their notice board which is helpful and...

Really nice café with a friendly staff ! We stopped here to take breakfast. The egg sandwich tastes really good ( Le pain de mie est très moelleux comparé au notre en France avec un goût un peu différent, ça surprend au début mais c'était très bon! ) They ask you if you want butter and what kind of sauce do you want too. I ordered a hot chocolate and all I can say is : Delicious ! The chocolate was really tasty, I recommend it ! My bf ordered a scone, really nice too. Well, don't hesitate to order something here, you won't be...

Found this cute tiny cafe on our last day in Dublin trying to pass the time. Located closely to St Patrick’s Cathedral and only a 10 minute walk from Temple Bar, this cafe offers fairly good food and coffee at a decent price. We were served two coffees accompanied by their homemade daily soup and two breakfasts. Friendly staff and quiet area, would recommend to people wanting to enjoy their morning coffee without the buzz of the city.
